GoogleExcellent service from Jason and the team, it shows they truly care. Jason really took time to listen and found him highly professional, compassionate and knowledgeable. Thanks to Jason and wider team, I have managed to move in a lovely place in just under one week from my viewing. The team has been extremely helpful and efficient in setting everything up and they have been constantly in touch to make sure I am well looked after. By far my best experience with an estate agent.

GoogleJohn D Wood (Oxford) operate differently: Unlike many agents who parcel up elements of the process and pass them into the hands of back-office staff, all of the JDW team are, at all points, equally well-informed about context and are equally able to to progress things. Their marketing, while low-key, generated many enquiries, the team lined up viewings very effectively and the office responded really well to challenges from prospective purchasers (and this vendor!). The transaction itself was handled efficiently with support from local solicitors. Overall, a great service - highly recommended.

GoogleDreadful experience as both a vendor and renter with John D Wood in Summertown. They are nice enough people but ineffective. The sale of my house was sloppy at best, communication with them was awful, the people sent to do viewings knew nothing about the property and they often turned up late for viewings. Took a long time (over 6 months) to sell but as soon as I gave them 28 days notice of moving to a different agent activity stepped right up and it was sold very quickly. I also rented a property from them and that was similarly disspointing. As a renter they charged me for replacement parts (cracked freezer door) and the charge was way over what I could see it actually cost online, their answer was that their contractors dont have to provide receipts so basically they dont make any checks and are happy to pass on any cost from their contractors to the renter. Took over 5 months and no resolution, they still have my deposit!! Would definitely not recommend for selling or renting!!!!

GoogleLast year, I have experienced both purchasing and rental with John D Wood Summertown branch, I have to say they are providing absolutely the top service in North Oxford. Carol at the letting department is the best agent that I have ever met in the last 14 years. She always respond to requests promptly, truly put her heart in taking care of the tenant, and even give me her personal what's app so I can reach her during her holiday!! Jackie and Wei are also so lovely and helpful during the renting and purchasing process. I def recommend them to anyone who plans to sell/buy/rent.

Daniel, Wai & the rest of the team have been a delight to work with selling our house; they were easy to contact, helpful & supportive to us & our buyers, as well as both sets of solicitors & agents down the chain. Rarely is the house sale process made as smooth as possible, so I would not hesitate to recommend the Oxford team to any property seller or buyer.

GoogleWe had a great experience with the John D Wood Fulham Broadway office. They were in charge of selling the flat we had been renting for a while and made the whole process very smooth. Terence and Huw managed to sell the flat with just one viewing, minimising nuisance for us as tenants. They also coordinated very efficiently with both the seller and the buyer in order for us as tenants to be the less impacted possible. John D Wood then helped us find a new place to rent very efficiently. Felix was very proactive and diligent both at the viewing stage and subsequently with all the paperwork. He went the extra mile for us, trying to facilitate as many things as possible with the landlord prior to our move-in date and also being involved in the few action points after our move.

GoogleI am extremely satisfied with the service provided by John D Wood! Especially, I want to commend the agent who assisted me, Milli Vallance. Not only did she help me find my dream rental property, but she was also incredibly prompt in responding to my messages. Milli patiently handled all my rental inquiries with a friendly attitude. I feel fortunate to have come across such a remarkable agent and I highly recommend her to everyone! It had been nearly half a year since I started my house hunt, and I couldn't find the perfect place until Milli Vallance efficiently secured my favorite house. I am incredibly grateful to her. GoogleMs. Crocker Head of Lettings is not to be trusted her dubious nature when and lack of detail when presenting tenants is questionable. Trying to force clients to accept tenants without full references, sharp sales practices are a worry for this agency.
