GoogleMy experience with John D Wood has been painless and successful. I have been dealing with Molly Derbyshire in the Parsons Green office. She has been patient, super professional and enthusiast about the property. I would highly recommend her either to buyers or sellers.... she knows her business!

GoogleCan't speak highly enough about Dan at John D Wood & Co Estate Agents in Wimbledon. We have worked with so many letting agents in the past and you are really just a number to them, but Dan took the time to get to know us and was open and honest about the flats we were viewing and the market. GooglePeter managed the sale of our property during a particularly challenging time in the 2023 housing market. We found him and the JDW team to be very professional, personable and efficient - always responding quickly to our questions and following up promptly when chasing other parties. We lost our initial buyers at one point due to change in their situation, and within days Peter had worked hard to schedule a series of new viewings and managed to secure another buyer. There is no doubt that the speed with which he reacted, additionally liaising with our seller’s estate agent, helped us to avoid losing the property we had offered on. During the early part of our journey Peter even paced the streets of our target area looking for potential properties for us. I recommend JDW to anyone looking to sell property in Wimbledon - we really felt we were the focus of their efforts and it was an absolute pleasure to have Peter on our side. Many thanks!

GoogleDan Fabregas is one of the best estate agents I have worked with in the last 5 weeks. He is highly competent at his job (and understands the Wimbledon area well because of his upbringing) and takes the time, care and consideration to make you feel listened to. Little details stand out like remembering my cats name, checking a flat back door was safe for her and allowing me to spend longer at a viewing asking questions even though it was a Saturday and he had somewhere he needed to be. I recommend working with Dan at John D Wood, Wimbledon.

My overall impression of the company is that they combine a ‘traditional style’ of interaction with customers (extremely courteous, clearly aiming for high standards) while using the latest technologies for buying/selling and transaction management. GoogleReally disappointed with with John D wood's managment. They were amazing when initially renting a property but on moving out this seems to have really changed. Firstly out deposit was not returned for weeks, we recieved emails threatening overdue rent even after leaving and despite a stellar post-move inventory checks, they initially emailed my partner and I emails saying that deductions would be made - and then once I called to see what this is regarding they said that they had made a mistakes and actually it was all fine - to then still not return the deposit for over a week. Multiple calls and undue stress for no reason. Seems to be very a different calibre of staff dealing with getting you into a property vs leaving.
