I have nothing but great words to say about Jan Forster Estates in Gosforth. I bought my first home and dealt with Louise. She was quick to update me and chase up the sale with the solicitors. I heard from her more than my solicitor so cannot thank her enough! If we ever come to sell the house we will 100% come back

I can’t believe how quickly everything happened, she explained everything clearly and handled everything so efficiently. Lorraine even went the extra mile by waiting for me outside office hours so I could collect my keys, which I really appreciated. Thanks again, Lorraine! I’ll give yous a big golden star 🌟

GoogleWell first of all Karen and the team got us a REALLY top price for my mam's house and the service was very professional. They are also lovely people keeping hold of a key ring with sentimental value and (after I had failed for years to pick it up) still remembering, reminding me and dropping it off at my mam's friend and neighbour. It's only a key ring but it means a huge amount to me and them. Selling a house is a big thing and you need good (in every sense) people who care. I really can't recommend Jan Forster highly enough!

GoogleDreadful time with these .firstly on the email they added my ex partner from 15 yr ago who was abusive and now knew what house i intended to buy ! I put a further offer in with Courtney and was advised i would here back today .looked on Rightmove to see the house to find STC .no email what so ever .Do not ever go through this awful estate agent they just want your money could not care less.as for so called Courtney change your job

We did explain that your ex-partner’s name was unfortunately left in the salutation, but all his contact information was removed and he was never informed of you viewing or offering on a property. You were given the chance to increase your offer. Ultimately, it is the seller’s decision who to sell to and we did try to explain this to you. We will ensure we do all we can to help you find a house suitable for your requirements.

GoogleAbsolutely faultless throughout the process of selling our house. There was a slight hiccup with uploading our photos at the start, due to an issue with the photographers SD card, but Jan Forster and the photographer when above and beyond to rectify this. Their attention to detail taking the photos, videos and write up of our house was second to none, essentially selling our house within 48hours of going on the market. First impressions really count when selling a house, and they obviously did a sterling job! Their communication was excellent between buyer and seller, and they were always at the other end of the phone to provide advice where needed. They don't over value properties to get new customers like some estate agents do, their valuation was bang on the money. I couldn't recommend them enough! Thanks again for all your hard work!

GoogleHaving read good reviews on here I’m sorry to have to say my experience was not that good! I bought a property through the Tynemouth branch in March this year and found the customer service very cold and un helpful, they had no information for me when I reached out for any and I never heard a thing from them from start to finish. I contacted them on completion day to see if I could collect keys and that was the only time I felt any response of positive energy. I would not use them to sell my property having been on the other side as a buyer.
