We reported a problem with our smoke alarms to Chloe Snell at Howards estate & letting in Gorleston. Within 3 hrs Sparky's Electrical called & found the problem. The next day they fitted 2 new smoke alarms & a CO alarm, & done a very good job. Chloe acted very promptly & professionally

Very poor, to get a phone call to say we were accepted for a house BEN the manager asked to fill out a survey which was happy to do ( we were excited ) I totally get the referral process. I get another call to say moving in date 8th August…..was waiting for contracts nothing nothing chased chased assured me it would be week commencing 1st they’d be on there….waited patiently Monday 8th arrived heard nothing called to ask what time we could collect keys…..BEN unfortunately I can’t get you in til the 15th….I don’t know where you got the 8th from ( totally lied to us ) never returned our calls very poor….called us a liar….apparently he was on holiday 🤔 never in the office when I called 🤔….finally after pleading we managed to get the keys at 5pm on the 8th. ALL I WILL SAY IS AVOID HOWARDS LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! since then we’ve had problems…I was told by one lady…I can give you persimmons number it’s best you communicate with them….. NO LOVE ITS YOUR JOB!!!

GoogleContacted the office to obtain more details about a property. Spoke to someone, who came across very disinterested and other than giving me the house number did not give any further information, even when prompted. They could not even be bothered to take my details, incase they might have something else of interest..
After being unable to find the property on google street view, I phoned back and spoke to the "concierge" service as Beccles had not picked up the phone. They were next to useless, not even being able to find the property on their system. I then looked at the Howards website, which contained even less information the Rightmove.
It's service like this that makes one wonder why estate agents exist - in 2022 information is readily available on the internet - one should question as to what companies like this actually add to the process, apart from a hefty commission?
