Had a brilliant experience dealing with Howard’s when purchasing my first property. From being made aware of the property when it first went on the market to exchanging of contacts, they’ve been very helpful and friendly. Georgia as the estate agent was brilliant when purchasing the house, Jazmin was always keeping me up to date with the admin side of things, Lexi and Addison were very helpful when I was viewing the property, Amy has been very helpful once I had my offer accepted, making sure the process has gone quickly and smoothly and Sam was very helpful and efficient in sorting out the mortgage side of things. 100% would recommend Howard’s Lowestoft to anybody looking to purchase or sell a property.

I contacted tons of Agencies around Lowestoft with a solid CV but Howards stood out. Met Ayesha for a first visit which happened to be unsuccessful. As a sales manager myself I know how difficult can be to complete the sale but on few occasions I thought there was a lack of listening to our requirements (customer is always right), misleading on a price expectations and a lot "sales tactics = false promises" made. I am not the one to name and shame but there is a very thin line between being a young and confident person to come across arrogant and pushy! However passed initial sale my experience have improved. Maddi was great on viewings and Amy was great on sorting out the "sale". Both ladies were polite, informative and responded quickly to my queries.

We first put our house on the market with another local estate agent, we had very little interest. Friends & family recommended Howard’s, we had the pleasure of meeting one of your agents at a house viewing, I was impressed with what he had to say, and he knew exactly why we’d had very little interest in our house. Your agents name is Jarrod. We decided to try & sell through Howard’s, Jarrod has been a pillar of support through this and has always gone above & beyond to help with whatever questions I had. He’s also been a kind ear when things didn’t go so well. I felt I trusted him and his intentions were good. He’s also helped us to negotiate our new purchase and get our offer accepted, for this we are truly grateful. Now we are in the process of selling & buying, solicitors involved, paperwork coming out of ears!! And all is going well. But I still know that Jarrod would help, even at this point - where, really he part is done. Jarrod helped us to sell our house and buy the property we fell in love with. 10 years ago I moved into my lovely apartment through Howards Estate and Letting Agents. I love my apartment, it’ is cosy, quick to heat/warm up and bigger than it appears to be at first glance. Today I’d like to give Rosie Nichols her well deserved flowers, I have found Rosie’s attention to detail, professionalism and prompt response to the myriad of issues that arose in the flat over the last two years to be exceptional. Every problem I’ve encountered has been dealt with promptly by Rosie, she replies to my emails in a prompt manner and makes arrangements with different contractors to attend my flat when necessary. This year the basement was flooded causing devastating damage to my personal effects, as soon as I reported the incident Rosie along with Gary Clarke were on top of all the issues that arose and promptly arranged for different contractors to tackle the issues that arose as a result. I initially spoke to Kate at Lowestoft branch to discuss potentially letting my 4 properties with Howards. She was very informative and provided me with all the information I required to fill me with confidence in using Howards as my agent. From the very beginning I was able to speak to any member of the team in Lowestoft or Great Yarmouth and they were familiar with my properties and situation. This was very important as it can be frustrating to keep explaining things! The whole process was handled professionally and efficiently by the team ,Kate,Lara and Ben. The hassle was certainly taken away from me but I was always consulted along the way. Two of my properties have now been let successfully and I am certain the next two will also be handled with the same high standard of service. I have been in regular contact with Amy Lugo at Lowestoft branch who has been exceptionally persistent and dedicated to ensuring a very drawn out purchase finally reached exchange today. Her patience and continued efforts have really helped . She has been very helpful and has provided exceptional customer service. Selling houses is easy but Amy has certainly been the driving force in bringing this sale to a conclusion!! Well done and Thankyou Amy👏👏 I have recently dealt with Katie at the Great Yarmouth branch who has been fantastic at negotiating a claim on the deposit following the end of a very trying tenancy. Horrible experience. Had made an offer on a house but retracted the offer and will never do business with Howards because of their tactics. I told Georgia 'no' four times when she kept forcefully pushing for me to meet their mortgage advisor Sam. I reiterated 4 times that my mortgage was being handled by Lloyds bank but she kept pushing and got Sam to ring me anyway so I told him I was happily locked in with Lloyds and he seemed to accept that but then he rang me again - ostensibly to get identity and proof of funds verification BUT also, he said, to discuss my Approved in Principle mortgage offer from Lloyds bank!! They wouldnt give up trying to force me to accept their mortgage brokering service. The calls were intrusive and repetitive. Georgia was like an encyclopedia salesman.There are a glut of houses on sale in Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. It's a buyers market, so plenty of other houses and plenty of other estate agents to choose from. I retracted my offer of £120k on 130 Raglan street entirely because of Georgia's inability to back off, back down, and accept my choice to keep my mortgage with lloyds bank. I've bought plenty of houses before so I don't need a mortgage broker whose services cost hundreds of pounds! I'm disgusted with Howards and I would never use them for a house purchase. No doubt Georgia, Sam, or the office manager will respond to this post saying they 'only wanted to get me the best mortgage offer' and that they didn't repeatedly pressure me into accepting their mortgage brokering services but they did and I don't like that !! UPDATE: I see from the response below that someone from Howards has replied to my review. Their sly wheedling response Infers that my original negative review of their stone deaf pushysaleswoman Georgia, who ought to be out banging on doors flogging vacuums and encyclopedias, was somehow linked to the lovely tall slim and well dressed young lady who showed us around 130 Raglan Rd. She was lovely, polite, helpful and Informative and her name DEFINITELY wasn't Georgia. Georgia was the wheeling pushy old biddy with the rough voice who kept banging on about me using howards mortgage services. Why someone - probably Georgia herself, would respond to my review and attempt to confuse everyone by blowing smoke up their arses would, normally, be beyond me. But now I've read all the other negative reviews of GEORGIA AT HOWARDS I can quite j derstand her cheap tactics. They're sort.of dumb, poor, and boring. She's like woodworm drilling in through an old piano. She keeps on banging out the same old tune and ends up.blowing deal after deal. I feel sorry for all the other staff at howards. They're so nice, especially the slim tall pretty girl who was showing us around 130 Raglan and who had a flight to catch. She was lovely and had a cultured accent. Georgia sounded rough and worn out, like her last job had been as a taxi cab dispatcher working the grave yard shift with only a packet of ciggies for company. In the end, I purchased four houses through my company, from a variety of estate agents, and thankfully none of them had any vacuum salesmen on their team. If you want a set of encyclopedias or a hoover on hire purchase ring Howards and ask for Georgia. But if you want to buy a house use anyone except howards!

Awful company, only care about getting your money, no people skills. A form was filled in incorrect due to an human error, was advised that holding deposit could not be refunded due to loss of time even though tenancy was not due to start until 14 days. Complexed to where the loss of time was, spoke to Chris on the phone and was full of stuttering and no real explanation, was almost as if he was believing his own lies. Trading standards have been contacted, avoid this company at all costs if you know the meaning of the word empathy.

Howard's have just completed the sale of my late mother's bungalow for me, and I have to say that I found the whole team to be extremely efficient, thorough, and showed respect and sensitivity, given that it was a Probate procedure. Jarrod has been a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He’s been extremely proactive, fast and professional at every turn and a fantastic ambassador for Howards. He came over on Friday to take images of our property (which were brilliant) got the property live by the Saturday, had a viewing on the Tuesday and got us an offer with the price we needed within an hour of them seeing the property. To say I’m blown away with Jarrod and the rest of the team is an understatement.
