GoogleCaroline from Holbrook and Co was a dream to communicate with. I am a first time buyer so buying a house was all very scary and having dealt with a previous estate agent prior and them not being very helpful I was very anxious. However, the moment I spoke to Caroline all my nerves settled and she made it a very exciting and enjoyable process. Thank-you for everything and making everything so easy! I cannot wait to move into my first home!

TrustpilotVery Inflexible, lots of hurdles, not overly understanding!
Having found our dream location in Collingham we went to visit. First impressions were good although you can tell they must get a lot of time wasters as not overly interested in engaging into too much detail. For context this move would mean moving locations, enrolling 1 child in a new school and moving the eldest child to the same one. As you can imagine alot of planning to do. We reserved the house we wanted having been told we can only do that with a sold STC house. We went through their identity checks, mortgage advisors checks, spent hours going through the onsite meeting (during the week and paid for childcare) and did everything that was asked within a 3 week window. To be told they wont proceed as the whole chain isn't sold subject to contracts. This is ludicrous, what if the chain was like 10 deep? We were then also told in 8 weeks we will need to put down a 5% deposit (over £25k) even though our money is in our house equity and the house doesn't even have a date of completion (just an estimate 2025). This to me again sounds crazy, who is going to put that down at this stage? Finally when asked what they can do on the deposit, part exchange, help move they said nothing, even though Right move on the exact property advertises these services for this plot (false advertising or click bait anyone?) Hopefully things can only get better in the future and if we do look to buy with Miller i hope its a-lot smoother than it has been so far…lets see. It shouldn't be difficult, it shouldn't be a hoop jumping process, it should be smooth, enjoyable and exciting. This is our next chapter and so far feels very frustrating.

Me and my fiancé have just purchased our first new home through Miller at seaham garden village, first off Linda is absolutely amazing and deserves a good bonus in my opinion, constantly juggling dozens of jobs. She has made this whole process so easy with very little stress and has got everything done ridiculously fast, and even pushed the build on so we could get in sooner! The whole team, sales and construction have been unbelievable and care a lot about the work they do, service/help they provide and also the level of quality they achieve. Thank you for all the help!
