Excellent sales staff

Just moved into our new home at Longridge Park, Bedlington. Service from Sue and Debbie in sales is excellent. It has been a hard slog due to complications down the chain and move in dates constantly being put back but Sue and Deb were with us all the way. The only criticism is that even though Head office knew about the issues, bottom of the chain in Scotland, they kept sending emails warning us that our reservation could be cancelled if exchange didnt go by a certain date. I found these very worrying as by that time we had put a lot of money into the house with purchase of various options. Since moving on there has been and still are a few snagging issues to resolve but the site staff have stepped up to the mark. Thanks to them all.

Persuaded to submit positive NHBC review, still waiting for apparent 5* service to materialise

We purchased a Miller home in March 2025. Support from the sales office through to completion was superb. Service post-completion was severely lacking. We were pushed to leave a positive NHBC review with a compensatory gesture which we absolutely should not have accepted - the exact words on multiple occasions were "we can assist with getting your garden landscaped if you score us highly across the board". The compensatory gesture was withdrawn after submitting a review that was more positive than it should have been (entirely our fault but explains the consistently high NHBC scores). Upon moving in the customer care manager was aware we had 6 weeks before flooring went down to rectify messier snags such as replastering a ceiling. We pushed to get plastering and painting completed before carpet went down for obvious reasons. This didn't happen despite chasing. We then ended up having to request Miller replace some carpet after a painter spilled paint, tried to rub it off and didn't inform us.
