Many thanks for this. Also for the sale of our bungalow earlier in the year 2 sales in 1 year was very hectic but Lee helped us through it and hopefully we can have a bit more settled 2017.

I asked for a valuation on my property by 3 estate agents. Tom Cheshire came to value my property. I had no doubt when I met Tom and heard his highly professional approach to marketing my house, who I should use. Tom produced four draft brochures before the final one was approved. It was outstanding. My house went on the market on the Tuesday, by the Following Saturday an offer of the full asking price had been made and which I accepted. You could not ask for better service than that. Tom kept in close touch with me until completion. I am extremely grateful,

View AgentsAt first, I thought Henderson Connellan were very professional and I was impressed by their sales pitch but it went downhill very quickly from there. We put our house on the market with them two weeks ago and have just cancelled our contract. They listed our house as 'detached' and 'bay-fronted' on RightMove, although our property is/has neither. I had to comb through the advert and found a total of 6 spelling/grammar issues, which made the advert look amateur at best. In two weeks, we haven't had a single person through our door, despite being informed that they had a list of 16 potentially interested contacts. I called them last Friday for an update as we hadn't heard anything and was told that our point of contact is on leave and it appears that in his absence, nobody was actively marketing our property. Although I fully accept that there isn't as much activity in the run up to Christmas, it would have been reassuring to have had a phone call or email to say that they had at least tried to follow up with the interested parties. Lastly, when we called to say that we would like to cancel our contract, they sounded glad to be rid of us and couldn't wait to get us off the phone. Not how I expect to be treated when I have made a complaint.

With regards to the problems you have stated in your review, we have taken your comments on board and looked into the points you have discussed, on very few occasions mistakes are made and we do our very best to rectify these issues quickly and efficiently when they arise. Christmas time dramatically affects the level of buyer interest on properties which are for sale and unfortunately this coincided with the timing of receiving your instructions to market your property. However the property market really starts to strengthen again early in the New Year with strong buyer interest returning, with this in mind we feel that terminating of the contract within the two week ‘cooling off’ period didn’t quite give us time to try and re-impress you with the quality service that we strive to provide. We hope that you achieve a successful sale on your property at the earliest opportunity and as mentioned if you would like to discuss your concerns or our complaints procedure please call me and we can arrange a meeting. From initial valuation visit by David Hulett, through sales by Holly and follow up with solicitors and buyers, Henderson Connellan were very efficient and engaging. They had their eye on the ball at all times and were always easy to contact. They also kept me informed at all stages without ever being intrusive. Great experience and a relatively quick sale.

It started with Adam selling our flat (twice) quite quickly, after another agents had it for a year. Then throughout the whole drawn out process - Emma, especially, was the one constant shining light and Henderson Connellan the only organisation we would recommend. From start to finish, sale to completion the service was incredible. Showing people around our house the staff were polite and courteous. Marketing was superior. Support whilst going through the chain process was way above and beyond our expectations. Special thanks to Karen and Emma for all the running around they did even when it really wasn't part of their remit.. Can't really thank all the staff enough. This is an agency who's best practices are transparent. Moving out of the area now but I think we would be very lucky to find another estate agent as professional as Henderson Conellan

Abbey Bulley has greatly assisted us in the sale of our property in Market Harborough. We were initially impressed by the knowledge and enthusiasm of the sales team. However, once an offer had been accepted, Abbey moved mountains to make sure that things happened quickly, effectively and with relatively little stress for us. This was in a chain of 5, and included some last minute surprises from the buyer. She still managed to navigate through the discussions to ensure effective completion. In over 20 years of buying and selling property, we have never come across someone so effective, yet understated, in the sales follow through. You have a massive asset in Abbey, and she should be rewarded as such.

This is the second time I have used Henderson Connellan and I'm sure it will not be the last. Tom is a keen member of the sales team and will do everything to help you secure the deal. He is always prepared to arrange as many visits as you feel is needed, In terms of the aftersales, where people always tend to get frustrated (once the solicitors get involved), and believe me I did.. Abby came into her own and was probably the most patient and helpful member of an estate agents I have ever dealt with and almost certainly went up and beyond of what is probably expected.
