We bought our house through Henderson Connellan last week, and the experience was outstanding. This was our third attempt to buy a house with different estate agents (the first two attemps fell through because of issues in the seller's chain). Our first experience with an estate agent was disappointing, the second was good, but HC is on another level. Communication was always quick, thoughtful, and never felt like we were being brushed off. They kept in close contact with the sellers and were proactive throughout the entire process. Their knowledge and expertise also made a real difference. For example, they informed us about changes to the rental legislation, which meant we were able to save one month's rent. We were renting at the time and had no idea that the notice period had been extended recently to two months. We worked with Shannon Sweeney and Rosie Canham at different stages of the process. Both were incredibly helpful, patient, and happy to answer the countless questions and requests we had as first-time buyers. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend them to anyone buying a home.

Shannon Sweeney meticulously phoned us every week with an update of what she was doing to get interest in our property and informed us of the outcome of viewings. Rosie Canham was also brilliant in the after sale service. She went over and beyond, keeping us informed of how the chain was progressing. I have been so impressed with Henderson Connellan. I was selling a property in probate so it was emotional for me and the team has been compassionate from our first discussion. There was no hard sell and they were happy to give me time to decide. A particular shout out to Abby Adams who was instrumental in getting the sale completed - it was a long drawn out process due to others in the chain and I honestly think without her tenacious approach it would have fallen through. I hadn’t expected the estate agents to be actively involved beyond securing a buyer but they really do support you all through the process. A big thank you for making an emotional time much easier. Henderson Connellan were absolutely brilliant with our two house sales in 2024, so there was no question about which estate agent to approach for my late mother-in-laws house sale. As always, everyone in the team is really helpful, giving great advice about marketing, viewings etc. There were lots of viewings and the communication was brilliant at all stages. Once an offer was accepted, the team helped us (and the very keen buyer) to get the sale completed really quickly and before Christmas which was a huge relief. HC were not my estate agents, they were for the house we were purchasing, but they were fantastic! From viewing the house with Conan and the following calls thereafter with the team, including Shannon and Abby, the service HC provided was above and beyond. Regular calls and updates and lots of tooing and froing. My estate agents were very quiet and unresponsive when I called but when I called Abby specifically, she was amazing and listened to many of my rants and meltdowns throughout the process providing me the information and support I needed.
