Henderson Connellan Market Harborough reviews

Moved house after almost 36 years of living in the same property. Shannon showed us round a house we decided we wanted to move to. Very understanding and let us do our own thing without tailing us round on the viewing - fabulous. Lots of complications due to buyers pulling out, people further up the (large) chain also being indecisive and a delayed probate case. Massive thanks to Abby at Henderson Connellan for being on top of everything and keeping us up to date with information along the way. If we do move again we’ll be asking H&C to be our estate agent!

I have only ever sold 3 houses in my lifetime so when my mother passed away I had a few agents visit to discuss the sale. I met with David Hulett who was very professional and informative. The sales rate was spot on and I agreed for Henderson Connellan to list the property. From the moment I met David I can honestly say that I received a 100% perfect service and absolutely cannot fault anything. The photos included a drone service which made the property stand out and the photographer used was a perfectionist. I was amazed! From then on I liaised mainly with the maginficent Shannon. I was called every single time there was a viewing with feedback and relevant updates. I never had to call the office to find out what was going on ever and the sale was initiated almost 9 months ago. Shannon in my eyes is a true professional. Special mention also to Conan and later on Abby who have also provided help and support in a difficult time. As a business owner myself I know the importance of customer service and Henderson Connellan have it full stop. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

We cannot thank the team at Henderson Connelly enough, particularly Abby! We’ve had a bit of a roller coaster ride to move to our new home, and Abby has been amazing throughout. One week in and she is still helping us out with minor glitches. We have no plans to move anytime soon, but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Henderson Connelly to anybody who is looking for a reliable, friendly, professional estate agent in the Market Harborough area.

Working with Holly has been such a great experience. Right from the start of the process she has gone over and above to find us our perfect house. She is so knowledgeable, trustworthy and just a lovely person to deal with in what is often a very stressful time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to any of my friends and family and will always use her for any more property sales in the future.

Henderson Connellan produced very professional & impressive literature for our property to be placed on the market. They found us a buyer swiftly, but their expertise really kicked in when the sale began to falter in the final few weeks and the chain was at risk of collapsing. Abby and the other members of the Market Harborough office team worked diligently to ensure prompt communication between all the parties, to achieve a successful outcome. Brilliant. A big thanks to all at Henderson Connellan !!!

I recently purchased a house through Henerson Connellan (Market Harborough). The team were fantastic throughout. They communicated well and went over & above towards the end of the process, to push the sale through with solicitors. All the team I dealt with were great, but Abby was particularly helpful in liaising with the vendor & solicitors. I would highly recommend Henderson Connellan's services. Thank you all.

I viewed and offered on a house in Market Harborough via Shannon at Henderson Connellan. The whole process was extremely smooth and I found Shannon to be professional, friendly and very helpful. Once the sale was agreed, I then dealt with Abby who progressed the sale. Abby was absolutely amazing! She kept me informed at all stages, was extremely understanding and efficient from start to finish. I always felt happy and comfortable speaking to her and she made me feel reassured on many occasions! Overall I would thoroughly recommend Henderson Connellan as an estate agent. Friendly, professional and honest and a pleasure to deal with!

We have recently bought a property through Henderson Connellan and cannot recommend the service highly enough. After our original chain had fell apart, we found another suitable property with Henderson Connellan. From the first viewing, Greta and Shannon were on it (and honest). We wanted a quick transaction as our buyer was waiting for us to secure an onward and with Greta and Shannon's help, we were ready to exchange contracts just THREE WEEKS after agreeing the purchase price. Communication is everything in a property transaction and both replied to our calls and emails so promptly in order to keep the process moving along at pace. We cannot thank you enough for helping us secure our new home!

Selling a house can be a very stressful process, so much is out of your control. Before putting our house on the market, we spoke to a few different estate agents - Henderson Connellan stood out from the start. This feeling continued through the viewings (where each member of the team was so knowledgable on our property, which can only put the potential buyer at ease), and the sale process (which sadly for us faltered at the last hurdle the first time). Nothing was ever too much and even at the most stressful points, we felt reassured that everything was being taken care of. The whole team are great but we have to give a particular mention to Shannon, Holly, and the wonderful Abby.

We were the buyers and we completed on our property at the end of Feb, and the whole team at Henderson Connellan were absolutely brilliant. We would 100% use them if we ever wanted to move in the future, I now recommend them now to everyone - such an amazing team. A special thank you to Abby who is an absolute credit to the team. Abby was amazing at communicating with us, keeping us updated and helping chase solicitors. Such a lovely lady to deal with, very professional, kind and helpful. All of the hard work Abby put in helped us to get completed quickly and smoothly, and we can’t thank her enough! We love our new house and look forward to many happy years here.

Fantastic service. Henderson Connellan dealt with both our sale and purchase during our recent move. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. They are really passionate about the property's they sell and do thorough homework with the owners to make sure they know your home inside and out. We mainly dealt with Conan, Greta, Holly and Abby who were all excellent at what they do. When we move again in the future we would use Henderson Connellan in a heartbeat. Many thanks everyone. These estate agents were very good . Holly Smith sold the house and obtained an exceedingly good price despite a falling market and rising mortgage rate . She was exceptional. Abby took over the practical side and legal aspects of the sale ( corresponding with all parties sometimes in very difficult circumstances) and tried to keep us on an even keel with regular updates .They both instilled in us an air of calm confidence with their verbal communications which were also followed by an email. This was a very difficult time for us but was eased greatly by their help. We would recommend this Firm to anyone buying or selling a property

Don’t go elsewhere! We both brought our house in 2020 through HC, and then sold it through them in 2024. Conan, Holly, Abby and the whole team are fantastic. They’re professional, knowledgable & incredibly efficient. I’d give 6 stars if I could to Abby in sales progression. Her advice, support and persistence in what can be a very stressful time for home sellers is incredible. Thank you to all the team at HC! Jack

From my first 'on spec' visit to the Market Harborough office - right up to completion date, this Agent has been outstanding. Prompt communication and professional throughout. With special thanks to Shannon who made my very first viewing a delight (your kindness, knowledge and understanding were much appreciated). And, to the amazing Sales Support - of Abby. Your efficiency and diligence have been frankly phenomenal. Thank you so much for walking beside me with your unfaltering support and expertise, you have made such a difference to this 'home buying' journey for me, and have most certainly gone the extra mile. I cannot rate Henderson Connellan more highly; whether you are buying or selling, I thoroughly recommend them without hesitation.⁹

We recently bought through Henderson Connellan, it was a very enjoyable experience and the service levels from Holly and the team were excellent. They really took the time to understand what we were looking for and proactively notified us of upcoming properties that met our criteria. They were really flexible to enable us to view the house we wanted at short notice, provided lot’s of good information and were able to answer all of our questions. The offer negotiation was handled swiftly and professionally, and once our offer was accepted the legal process was managed seamlessly to enable us to exchange within about 6-7 weeks. They were always available when needed for questions and updates and have a great mix of friendly service and professional diligence. Thanks again to Holly, Abby, David and the team!
