Lack of communication a huge disappointment!

Henderson Connellan were initially fantastic when selling my house. They got 15 people to view my property and it SOLD in 1 week. I was delighted. Then I heard very little from them and had to chase them for information. There was no sale progression reports. Thankfully my solicitor kept me informed of events so that on completion, I knew what to expect. As again, no contact from estate agent. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication in general and of sale progression from the Estate Agent.

Very pleased with a recent sale Staff efficient, helpful and friendly.

Henderson Connellan, (Market Harborough branch), recently sold my father's bungalow. Everything went smoothly and I feel that it is because all the agents knew the latest situation regarding the property, rather than have just one named person dealing with it.. Any queries I emailed or phoned them about, staff were instantly listening and, if they said that they would come back to you, they DID! That is rare for people to do that these days! Would definitely recommend this Estate Agency..

Outstanding service, from beginning to completion.

I asked for a valuation on my property by 3 estate agents. Tom Cheshire came to value my property. I had no doubt when I met Tom and heard his highly professional approach to marketing my house, who I should use. Tom produced four draft brochures before the final one was approved. It was outstanding. My house went on the market on the Tuesday, by the Following Saturday an offer of the full asking price had been made and which I accepted. This is the second time I have used Henderson Connellan and I'm sure it will not be the last. Tom is a keen member of the sales team and will do everything to help you secure the deal. He is always prepared to arrange as many visits as you feel is needed, In terms of the aftersales, where people always tend to get frustrated (once the solicitors get involved), and believe me I did.. Patience, tenacity and integrity

This would have been 5 stars if it were not for the protracted transaction time although this was entirely due to the inconsistency and unreliability of the buyer and their representative whose behaviour was exasperating for most of those concerned. Abby Bulley (Sales Progression) was on the other hand a breath of fresh air and frankly without her drive, tenacity and patience this transaction would never have been successfully completed. I was particularly impressed with Abby's speed of response and complete reliability, in a transaction where, in the end, minutes not hours proved crucial This was a difficult balancing act where differing personalities and agendas required handling with diplomacy. How important it is to have complete trust in someone who is handling one of the biggest emotional and financial transactions of your life. Thank you Abby for your support it is greatly valued. Amazing service from start to finish

Having been an estate agent myself in the past, I know what to expect when selling a property and have found Henderson Connellan to offer a truly great service throughout. I was initially impressed with the valuer Tom, who ensured that the team came around to familiarise themselves with the house first, we very quickly got interest and sold on the first viewing. After which Abbey was great in working with myself and the rest of the chain to ensure that we successfully got through to exchange of contracts - despite some of the challenges this threw up. Every aspect of a complicated sale exceeded expectations

For many years we had dreamed of moving to West Wales. This October we decided the time was right to give it a try. We have moved many times before so were very aware of potential problems especially trying to co-ordinate sale and purchase, moving 200 miles away. We saw 5 estate agents and chose Tom from Henderson Connellan in Market Harborough. He was easily the best prepared of the people we saw and we felt confident he would do a good job. The particulars Henderson Connellan produced were beautiful and against our expectations Tom and his team found a buyer for our Victorian house just before Christmas. We were then supported by Abby through the sale process. This was not easy, but Abby's polite persistence helped complete the transaction and we moved to Wales last Tuesday. Before instructing Henderson Conellan we had a pretty dim view of estate agents. The whole team at Henderson Connellan challenged our predjudices. They always returned our calls, made sure messages were passed on and were well prepared and informed. They achieved a good price for our property and helped us see it through to completion. Efficient, effective and personal

The whole team has worked extremely hard arranging numerous viewings, dealing with offers and acting as negotiators when things were not going smoothly. Home move

From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted by Tom with his enthusiastic handshake I felt at home. Tom was insistent that he could sell our house with no trouble ,I didn't believe him but it went live on the Monday and sold on the Friday.a feat that was also down to the delightful Holly. I must also mention Danielle although she was in the background but it was clear she was part of a great team. So having sold the house we were introduced to the lovely Abby who was responsible for following the sale through. How I tried the patience of this lady but never once was she anything but super in her dealings with us. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Henderson Connellan are amazing and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone buying ir selling a house in Market Harborough. David came round to do the valuation, very professional and personable. The whole team then came round the following day to look at the property. They asked intelligent and searching questions and I felt confident they would be able to describe the house and answer any questions any one coming into the shop asked. Viewings were always notified in advance. Holly put a detailed set of lock up instructions together for the team as we were on holiday at the time of the viewings. Conan and Tom patiently waited while prospective buyers looked round and the people who did buy our house told us they had been in looking at it for almost two hours with Conan! What patienceand determination to put the customer first. Abby chases the sales and was always updating us on what was happening. She was very professional, never lost her temper, even when I felt it would have been justified and simply focussed on keeping the sale on track. I could not have asked for a better team. The house sold very quickly, due to some extent to the marketing, enthusiasm and dedication of the whole team. I contacted this agent as I wished for them to handle the sale of my flat. We knew HC were good as we had used them previously, but this time they exceeded their own high standards. From the initial telephone enquiry Holly sounded genuinely keen to come and appraise the property and promptly arranged for David to do so, he gave an honest and realistic valuation and talked us through the process without the hard sell. They even hand delivered some property details later that evening. We didn’t speak to any other agents as we were confident HC were the right team for the job. On instruction the following week Holly came round to prepare the details and again was really enthusiastic about the house, I was impressed as I knew this would filter through to potential buyers. Highly Recommended Estate Agents

I have dealt with three estate agents in 2015 whilst trying to sell our family home and Henderson Connellan were the best by far. I felt like they cared about selling our home and the communication, which is sadly lacking with other agents, was excellent. They acted with professionalism and integrity with a certain issue, which we cannot always say about companies in this business. Once our house was sold the help with communicating with solicitors and buyers was performed to a superb level, and assisted with overcoming obstacles (like solicitors!).
