GoogleDecided to disengage with Hearnes as our Estate Agents after months of poor performance, lack of communication and failure to deliver on promised objectives. On the same day we did this, they cancelled our viewing on another property despite having emailed us only two days before inviting us to see the property. Bad service, bad attitude, this agency is seemingly run by a group of petulent teenagers.
I am so sorry you feel this way, we would never cancel a viewing unless instructed to do so by the seller. Please feel free to contact us to discuss the points you have raised, we are happy to help.

GoogleInitially, all appeared well. However, after the TSB bank bank technical crash, the attitude towards us changed. We were led on to believe all was well. The lack of patience led to a contract race being started. We lost the chosen Property. On attempts to look for new property in the area, no calls were returned. Fortunately, we have found and moved into a much more livable property in the same area. I will not use Hearnes in the future.
It was an unfortunate situation that this buyer’s mortgage offer was refused after some 6 or 7weeks so we were asked to remarket the property by the owner. Rather than just sell it to another buyer and withdraw, they left the contract out to give them an opportunity to exchange contracts still. Unfortunately for them the new buyer exchanged more quickly but they were given months to buy it. We were only following instructions from the seller but sometimes things just don’t work out. We worked very hard for these applicants to buy it. I’m very sorry you felt this way.

Google‘World class’ service from Andrea. Great advice and guidance. Wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend that anyone should deal with Andrea. Professional, courteous and a genuinely warm person. In an industry seemingly filled with agents who seemed not to care, Andrea really stood out.

From start to finish sally and her team kept us informed of the progress and also explained each step as we moved through the process(greatly appreciated as 1st time buyers) Alec went out of his way arranging out of hours viewings and being on hand if we had any queries with quick email responses. FacebookI wish I could have written a positive review, but unfortunately my experience using Hearnes was a shambles from start to finish. Despite a higher fee than some others, I signed with them for the reason of the very convincing valuation they put on the house combined with the huge number of buyers they guaranteed they had lined up waiting to view. Both were entirely untrue (6 or so viewings in 2 months, none of whom were credible buyers) and I now feel extremely gullible for falling for the sales patter. Eventually we were forced into accepting an offer which was way below what we had been guaranteed as a minimum, the only reason for accepting was because the buyers were chain free and a quick exchange and completion were assured. Again, this proved untrue. Not only were the buyers not chain free, but they were selling the house through........ Hearnes!!! At every stage I felt like Hearnes were pandering to the buyers at our expense, and the whole process extended months beyond what it should have done as everything became delayed by the supposedly non-existent chain. My request for a review of the fee based on me signing the contract under known false promises was given literally no consideration whatsoever. All in all the experience was a shocking example of how to treat a customer and I will be strongly advising anybody selling a house to go elsewhere for their agency.
