Hearnes sold our house quickly with very few viewings in a difficult market and we were very happy with the quantity and quality of the images they used to market the house. The way that the property details that people see on Rightmove were very detailed and personal to the house presented as professional and informative, which no doubt helped to secure maximum viewings and a quick sale. The Star of the show however, was Hannah. We had what turned out to be a complicated chain with 6 parties involved and involved numerous stumbling blocks. Hannah always kept everybody in the chain updated every step of the way with any new information and went over and above her duties to progress the sale. We felt that in a chain like ours, no news is bad news, and Hannah's proactive approach kept everybody calm and patient. It is thanks in no small part to Hannah that we are moving into our new house tomorrow! Thanks Hannah!

GG, A nom de plume Like others I to have had a bad experience with this company. I viewed a Bungalow in Creekmoor July 2024- put in a fair offer which was just below the asking price which was accepted by the vendor I say again was accepted by the vendor, great I thought & started looking around for conveyance solicitors etc, just by chance I looked at the House advert on line again a couple of days later and saw that not only had the Hearnes not taken the house off the market or put ’sold subject to contract’ ‘under offer’ or ‘spoken for’ but they had actually gone back on line and started to re-advertise the house for the lower offer that I had just negotiated. A day or two later Hearnes called me and said sorry the house has gone to ‘a higher offer from a cash buyer ready to go’ but I said my offer had already been accepted by the Vendor! Hearnes even had the gall to phone and ask ‘do you still want us to sell your property for you’. Short answer was no, of course. I have just noticed on the land registry that the house was sold in December, Fifteen thousand pounds less than my offer - (so much for the higher offer)? it would appear someone somewhere is telling porky pies aren’t they? Possibly went to an associate or developer, or sold to someone who took out a Mortgage using Hearn’s in house Mortgage which means Hearn’s get a big percentage for selling the Mortgage. So much for Guff about family values on their website-just another estate agent who’s moral compass pings straight around to the ££££££s sign. make sure they take the house off the market once the offer has been accepted, estate agents have a label for a reason.

Hearnes Estate Agents were absolutely amazing throughout my mum’s house sale. Everyone was brilliant and extremely helpful and supportive, but especially Michael who we first met for the valuation and then was brilliant at showing prospective buyers the property. When the first sale fell through, Michael got back on the case and secured us a buyer a few days later. Hannah Palmer was also brilliant once we secured a buyer and helpful when we had any queries. You can really feel that everyone at Hearnes are proud of what they do and care for their clients. We also met Lynda when we instructed Hearnes and it was lovely to receive a call from her in exchange to make sure all was okay. A personal service provided by very professional and caring people.
