GoogleTerrible service. Never follow up on messages left or call back when they said they would. An offer was put in, over the asking price and after waiting weeks upon weeks to see if it was accepted or not, we were not contacted to be told it's now under offer. GoogleTony Overhill and the GTH team at the Tiverton branch were given the task of selling my late mum's property. A 'development opportunity' with all its charm and views but also its quirks... From probate through to completion Tony's professionalism and knowledge of the market guided me through not only the usual process but two lockdowns, dealing with some very difficult people, and the emotional roller-coaster of highs and lows associated with house selling. Tony was unfaltering in his optimism and a true gentleman throughout. He would inform me of progress but not influence my decision making.. Even at times I wished he would! His knowledge of the rural market proved invaluable. I am so glad that I invited him all those months ago to come and value the property for probate. So no stars at all would be my choice but it seems I have to give one for them just existing. So many buyers you can't be bothered no doubt - not very professional.

GoogleWe were cash buyers of a property via GTH Tiverton and were amazed at the aggression directed at us from them and the vendor. Had the property not uniquely suited us, and had we not ended up refusing to speak to them directly,only via our solicitor, we would have been sorely tempted to tell them what to do with it ! There was also dubious holding deposit demanded which turned out to be forfeitable if exchange was not made within a very short period . Do not pay this without consulting your solicitor.NegativeProfessionalism

We understand that you moved into your new home nearly a year ago now and the sale was originally agreed on the understanding that it would be a quick transaction, unfortunately this proved problematic and it turned out to be quite a protracted purchase. During the course of your purchase you and our client exchanged contact details, which we strongly advise against as it can be difficult when the buyer deals directly with the vendor. In this case, the protracted sale caused concern and tension for both parties, which we tried to mediate between. As I am sure you can understand, we act on instructions from our client and certainly would not have wished or intended for you to feel aggrieved.
