Excellent service

I have been very pleased with the service I have received from Greenslade Taylor Hunt, particularly from Katie and the team at the Minehead office. They have been professional, approachable and helpful. Communication has been good, and Katie has always been courteous and responsive when dealing with my questions, passing information between myself and the buyers and keeping things moving. Selling a property can sometimes be stressful, so it makes a real difference having an agent who is easy to deal with, practical and willing to help. I have appreciated the support and advice I have received throughout the process. A GTH master class in customer service.

We purchased our house from GTH, Taunton branch ON THE 04TH September 2026. This was a 9 month battle to get us over the line. My wife and I would have pulled out after 6 months if it was'nt for the incredible team in the Taunton branch. Can we also highlight 3 members of staff for their work. Bill who kept us fully up to date on a daily basis and also managed to do the work of all the Estate agents in the chain. Isla who was always very helpfull providing a positive voice on the dark days. Callum who took care of us when Bill and Isla were not available , making sure we were kept informed and fully up to date. We have and will continue to recomend this highly skilled , exceptionally tallented and human team who didnt need to look after us so well but did any way. Thanks for all your help, fantastic work.

Sold and bought with GTH in Ilminster. Having dealt with other agents in the past, and also through my job in conveyancing, I can honestly say that 100% GTH are the best! I had a very problematical sale and Claire was excellent in chasing up solicitors and did everything she could to assist. Chris and Maria were also brilliant. Claire knew how stressed I was and would send me emails headed up ‘Don’t panic’! 😂 A really lovely team! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them! Thank you for getting me through!

Agent extremely rude

Agent was extremely rude in response to an enquire I sent online. Just because she/he (not even identified) had to repeat an information that I didn't realise when first read the advert. That's the way they treat potential customers. I can guarantee that they would be very quick to get my money if I had moved forward. It's your judgement to decide if you want to make business with this kind people. I would recommend to avoid on any instance.

A difficult decision turned into a positive move.

I have a large property which I put on the market 3yrs ago. Govn Budget changes caused the bottom to fall out of the housing market. Recovery for larger property sales is still not fully back up to speed. I have now accepted an offer, all thanks to the great sales team at Greenslade,Taylor& Hunt, especially Chris, Diane and Anita. I had been kept fully up to date regarding Housing Market movement, which was painfully slow. I was confident the sales team were doing everything they could to raise awareness about and was ecstatic when viewings increased. Having accepted an offer, GTH are now working through the sales process, which I am not familiar with as my husband would normally have dealt with this sort of thing. Being on my own it was extremely daunting, but in getting to know the friendliest sales team at GTH, they have always been incredibly helpful & supportive, with high levels of communication. I have trust and confidence in their service and procedures which is very refreshing especially when dealing with such an important matter of selling your home and finding another on your own, especially when the life changing cause was not foreseen, and selling your home is not a matter of choice. I wouldn’t use any other Estate Agent now, when you find a good company, keep using it, although I do not intend to move again. I have found a home that feels like it was waiting for me, I can’t wait to move in and start the final chapter of my story. Selling a home is definitely all consuming, from the moment you make that decision to sell. You must have highly qualified, strong, ethical & friendly people to help guide the way and to know they are always in your corner. I cannot imagine what it must be like if you haven’t. I felt safe. Greenslade, Taylor & Hunt met all my needs and wants with compassion in what was a traumatic reason for selling, and bad start (thanks to The Budget) when I put my house on the market. However, it was really nice to share my excitement of selling with them too. There’s still a way to go but I am very confident the GTH (Wells) sales team have it all held safely in their hands. We would recommend GTH very highly. The Bridgwater office has a strong team, headed by Ann Cragg, the ultimate professional. We were impressed at our first meeting by Ann's expertise, and throughout the sale process we knew we could rely on her sound advice. Everything was handled promptly and professionally, and the client care was excellent. Our key contacts were Harry Izatt, who ably led the marketing process, conducting viewings and liaising closely with the buyer; and Lorraine Van de Velde, the sales progressor, who did an amazing job of chasing solicitors and making sure everything stayed on course, while keeping us informed and reassured. Any time we called the office, we could rely on talking to someone helpful; they genuinely work as a team, with a strong focus on the client. We'd like to thank Reef Simpson, Stacey Deve, Becky Blackmore and everyone else who helped us. No written acknowledgement of a genuine offer This review relates specifically to GTH’s Development Land & Planning team at its Taunton/Blackbrook office. We submitted a genuine written offer for the whole property on 22 July, subject to normal surveys and due diligence. GTH subsequently confirmed that it had passed our offer to the vendor within 48 hours. However, GTH sent us no acknowledgement or update. We chased on 3 August and eventually had to telephone on 10 August, 19 days after making the offer. We were then told that a higher offer was being pursued and that no further offers were wanted. We also found the manner in which this was communicated dismissive. In its written complaint response, a GTH partner said that the vendor had instructed the firm not to contact us while pursuing another offer. A vendor is entitled to reject an offer and is not required to negotiate. However, GTH did not need to disclose anything confidential or enter into negotiations simply to acknowledge our offer and tell us that it was not being progressed. The Estate Agents (Undesirable Practices) (No. 2) Order 1991 requires estate agents to forward offers promptly and in writing. GTH says it fulfilled that duty by informing the vendor, but that does not explain why we received no basic written confirmation or status update. An instruction from the vendor not to engage with us should not remove GTH’s own responsibility to communicate professionally. We previously removed an earlier review after realising that we had supplied an incorrect contact email address with our later complaint. We did that because we wanted to be fair. That explained why we initially missed GTH’s complaint response, but it had nothing to do with the original handling of our offer. We have dealt with several other agents during our property search who have been extremely helpful, courteous and communicative. The contrast with our experience here has been stark.
