GoogleWe rented from most estate agents in town and this is by far the worst! Staff are very dismissive and you are forced into 3 monthly inspections. When it comes time to move on they will do anything to try and retain as much as your deposit as possible for feeble excuses. Turns out the cleaner they recommend happens to be a friend of the company. They never show up or are late for viewings and try to force short notice viewings on you! we had to actually show potential new tenants around ourselves. Very poor. Tenants beware.
Dear Mr Clifford, We would be happy to talk in more detail about the issues you raise in person. However, on closer inspection of the situation, we can assure you that we have always had a good relationship with the actual tenant of this property and can answer a number of your points here. We always arranged the three monthly inspections at the tenant's convenience and rearranged these if required. I personally carried out most of the inspections and never once received a complaint from the tenant about having them done every three months (as set out in our terms and conditions). When notice was given by the tenant, we began marketing for a new tenant and arranged viewings so that we could show prospective tenants the property. The short notice texts were mostly reminders about viewings that had already been booked. There was one occasion where I got held up with an appointment running over and then held up in traffic and the tenant was very happy to show the people around. If this hadn't been the case, we would have re-booked without question. Regarding the cleaner, she is a well respected local contractor who provides a good service at reasonable prices. We recommend her along with other contractors for end of tenancy services - a usual practise among letting agents. We do not receive commission for recommending these services. GoogleBuyers beware!!! We offered on a property in Sherborne, agreed the sale, told by hunts that the property was ‘taken off the market’ only be called a few weeks later informing us that they have accepted another offer put to them as we hadn’t booked a mortgage survey, despite informing hunts that we were cash buyers and don’t require a survey. Very poor service and zero morals. Proceed with caution!!!!

GoogleGreenslade Taylor Hunt have been absolutely fantastic for us from the first viewing through to completion. They were able to allow us into the property a number of times at the drop of a hat to take measurements etc. Fantastic service received from Richard and the team. GoogleExcellent service, the only agent in Tiverton that actually followed up after visiting our property. So glad we went with GTH even though their commission was marginally higher than others they sold our property for more than we were expecting and within 2 weeks. We always received prompt feedback following viewings and would 100% use them again.

GoogleYou have to leave at least 1 star to comment.... shame I can't leave none! Went into the Bridgwater office after finding a house we wanted to view on line. Both women in there in the phone - after 5 minutes neither had acknowledged or made eye contact with us. After 7 minutes we left still with our invisibility cloak firmly wrapped around us. I should point out that we are cash buyers looking to move quickly so you lost out - we will chose more carefully in the future!

When my staff are on the phone, I would expect them to look up, smile and offer our seating area. I regret this didn't happen on the day you visited and have, as a matter of urgency, implemented further training and set out clear guidance again to my staff.
