View AgentsProfessional & friendly with excellent communication
Over the past few years, I've now used Fisks at Canvey to buy and sell 1 property and sell another. I must say that, in all cases, the service was extremely friendly yet utterly professiional.. All staff that were involved gave me excellent communication via various means (phone, text, email). I'd happily recommend them to anyone.

GooglePhoned up to arrange a valuation, one was arranged but then I was called back and told that as the house was being sold to a family member the sale would not involve any further involvement from them after that (in other words I wasn't worth any money to them). Then he said I would have to pay a fee, and he would call me. I didn't receive a call. I just wasn't enough money to them I guess.

GoogleCompletely inept at their job. If I could give the Fisks team less than 1 star, I would. Don't trust their credit checks. Had to chase them constantly for unpaying tenants. All they did for their fee was to forward on our emails. Complete waste of money. You'd be better managing the property yourself that using Fisks.

Fisks sold my house. I had another estate agent before Fisks, I was with them for about 7 months, only had about 7 viewings. Then we changed to Fisks. We had viewings all the time. The staff at the Canvey Island & Benfleet branches are very nice. They go above & beyond trying to find a buyer. They are knowledgeable in all aspects of their job. They were regularly keeping in touch with me, from start to finish. I was so impressed with them that I told neighbours that are selling. I particularly want to thank Taris! Thank you for selling my home!

From the very first involvement, Fisks were just excellent, managing the sale very professionally and with great communication throughout. The whole team were great and especially Simon and Taris who added a level of personal involvement that I was not expecting, How refreshing that was and to quote Taris "we are dealing with people not just house sales". A top class friendly team in all ways.

View AgentsFantastic service despite challenging circumstances
Selling a property is never easy but trying to do it whilst evicting tenants is a nightmare. Ian And Harriet at Fisks were fantastic. How Harriet managed to show the house with the tenants still there, I’ll never know. And having possession for 8 days, with the state it was left in and still getting the price I wanted...well, what can I say?! Ian took over when the offer was accepted and I cannot fault the service received - communication was always excellent. Would definitely recommend!!

I just recently sold a one bedroom bungalow on Canvey Island and selected Fisks as the agents I would use .for the sale. Their friendly and helpful service was a pleasure to deal with as the property belonged to my late mother and it was a sad time for myself and family. There were several viewings and I was informed at all times as to the progress being made. Eventually a buyer was found and the transaction went smoothly right up to the sale completion. I must give a special mention to Taris Etherton, who I'd had most of my dealings with. He was a nice guy and it was like dealing with a good friend rather than a pushy estate agent.

Would like to thank Ian and all the team at Fisks Benfleet. We have had fantastic service from start to finish. The proffesional photos which were organised by Fisks were an added bonus and made our home look great when advertised online. From the initial meet to our home being sold i always felt that as a customer my needs were met, and there was no "Hard sale" I would 100% recommend Fisks once again thank you.

GoogleAn outstanding Estate Agents. Between Martin and Lubna who I had the pleasure of dealing with over the past 14 months there couldn't be a single fault. I had troubles with my balcony door and washing machine which they organised to be replaced as soon as they could. Highly recommend!!

Fisks have done a great job during the recent sale of my house. Ian was at absolute professional from our first meeting, right through to completion. The initial valuation process was a well conducted procedure and included a comprehensive report of my area and similar property sold prices, which enabled me to accurately choose a realistic but fair selling price. The fisks team arrange for some amazing looking professional level photos to be taken which really set the property apart from others when viewed on property websites. They conducted all viewings and I achieved an offer of full asking price within a matter of weeks. The process through to exchange and completion was handled very well, and Ian done a great job of keeping me informed and passing information between the 2 conveyancing teams. Overall I couldn't be happier, I sold my house for the money I wanted, it went through perfectly and I was very happy with the low fee! Next time I sell I'll be on the phone to Fisks. Thanks guys!

Our experience with Fisks Agents have be great. They have been very helpful, transperany and patient. We had very prompt responses all throughout the course of our process. They even arranged the access to the property before exchange for us to do a small ritual on the auspicious day of Diwali. I want to call out for James Pring in particular but wherein in stepped in to expedite the completion process when there was communication gap between solicitor. Overall, we are extremely happy about the service provided to us and we will surely recommend them to our friends & family too

Ian from Fisks in Benfleet dealt with the sale of my property. He had a much better feel of the local market than the other agents that valued my property, valuing it at £20,000 more which we achieved. He was professional and approachable throughout the process and was the voice of reason when my purchase got a bit stressful! I would definitely recommend Ian and the Fisks Team in Benfleet.

GoogleVery disappointed.... I paid the fees but they didn't reply me properly..... Every time I need to call them to ask what's going on.... At the end of the reference checks, they said we can't move on the next step and they didn't said what was the reason behind that.... At the end I lost my money and realised that this was not a proper genuine estate agent.... Thanks

I decided to use Fisks because my initial consultation with them was very professional and left me feeling confident they could sell my house quickly. My circumstances were more difficult as we were selling two houses at the same time but Ian and Chelsea managed this throughout the process very professionally. Both Ian and Chelsea were very approachable and always did their upmost to answer any questions that were thrown their way. It was a pleasure dealing with them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again to move house. Many thanks Ian/Chelsea especially through the more challenging times.
