GoogleThey sold a bungalow for us and the service and experience was poor. Communication was very rare and chaotic and by the end i was dealing directly with the solicitors to avoid further delays.

GoogleI have a long history of renting properties in London, five exactly, and never experienced such a bad customer service on the tenant side. They were very communicative when it came to us signing the contract of course, but afterwards they have been very unhelpful despite managing the property. We are renting a big family house, a really great house, expensive of course, with all the appliances. From day 1, the washing machine was not working. The landlady told us she has advised Fenn Wright about it before we moved in. They do nothing about it. They called a monday morning to say a technician would come at 10am that same morning. Of course we were both at work! Now they told us it will be at the end of the month. So we have a full month with NO washing machine in an expensive big house. They tell us to go to the laundrymat. They do nothing about it. Awful service The kids are all coming back and going on different camps. We can’t wash their clothes I am travelling to London a lot for work while opening boxes in my new house. The last thing i want to do is carrying the family laundry around to laundrymat like a student. We will be buying a house in Colchester in the near future and we will make sure not to use them, it has really put us off to be mistreated like that.

GoogleIf you are using Fenn Wright as a letting agent be very careful. They are LITERALLY the worst agent we have used. We left the house over a month ago and we have still not been told about the return of our deposit or the deductions. I received an email from them today saying that we had not had the property cleaned etc and that there was a cracked tile behind the toilet and that we had let the garden over grow. Also that we had made some holes in the bathroom wall (the landlord had done this. We hadn’t touched the wall). They also sent us a photo of a window that had gone rotten. When we moved in the landlord refused to tidy the garden we had to spend £400 to get it sorted out. We repainted inside the house. We even had a rotten door with a huge whole in that the landlord refused to repair and we had to fix to stop the wildlife coming in. Apparently we opened the door and had to deal with the consequences! When we left we got professional cleaners throughout the house, cleaned the carpet and had the oven cleaned professionally. Because there was a bit of dirt on the floor (when the removal people moved the fridge) they said that we had obviously not got in professional cleaners. The cleaners we used ensured that everything was clean before we left. Honestly they are a joke. This is the fith house we have rented and by far the worst agents. They also charge £30 per person admin when you need a reference from them. They also send someone around every three months who tell you to clean the cooker, move a box etc. I couldn’t read the reports as they made me feel like I was living with my parents. Honestly would have been cheaper to have done that.

GoogleThe commercial sales department of Fenn Wright in Colchester is incompetent and completely wasted both my time and money when trying to purchase a business unit through them. They failed to communicate to me that the seller had withdrawn the property from the market in November or December 2017 and still to this day have not had the courtesy to contact me and advise me the property is no longer for sale! I had to find out by speaking to the security guard on the business estate and getting a line of communication with the seller though him. I would advise anyone to avoid this agent, or at least this branch.

GoogleWe bought a property through Fenn Wright signature. We cannot recommend Fenn Wright enough. They did a fantastic job and made the buying experience a much better one. We have bought and sold 4 properties over the last 7 years and Fenn Wright was head and shoulders above other agents. We are very grateful for their help in getting our forever family home .

The whole team at the Sudbury office went the extra mile to ensure my purchase went through smoothly, each covering for the other, if one wasn't available on the day.Particular mention goes to Tracy Wigens, who kept everything on track, with her attention to detail, professionalism and tenacity with all the other parties (vendors and conveyancing solicitors.)I would definitely use again..

Tracy kept me informed with progress of the purchase. Both ladies were a pleasure to deal with & nothing was to much trouble. I have used Fenn Wright Lettings for many years, where Michelle Reedie has become someone who I can totally rely on to resolve any issue that comes up. But this is the first time with their Sales team & Kirsty was extremely impressive. Updates at key times along with chasing lawyers when needed brought the deal to a swift conclusion and closed really quickly. Well done Fenn Wright - its good people that make any organisation successful!

We were extremely impressed with the all-round service we received from Fenn Wright. Our property had been on the market for 18 months. Initially, with one other agent and then secondly with another local agent. We received some viewings at first, but very little after the first couple of weeks with both these agents. We then decided to use Fenn Wright, in addition to the other two. Firstly, the photos the Fenn Wright photographer, were far superior. He also used a drone to take ariel shots. Our personal contact, Martina, was excellent throughout. She provided us with regular feedback, even during quiet periods and everyone else in the Witham office was aware of our situation and could answer questions if Martina wasn't available. We received more viewings from Fenn Wright than the other 2 agents and ultimately Fenn Wright found us our buyers. Through the stressful selling process, they continued to keep us updated, chase solicitors etc and solve any problems that arose.
