I have both bought a flat sold by Featherstone Leigh and witnessed sales of flats in my block of flats by them and they give buyers false information. Shameful! Myself and my flatmates found Featherstone Leigh to be very, very poor in the managing of our rental period spanning 3 years. A severe lack of professionalism in both communication (breaching GDPR by including random email addresses alongside or instead of those relevant, poor responsiveness to maintenance issues including a lack of hot water or the need for pest control, as examples) and attitude (coming for viewings of the property without the consent or knowledge of those staying in the property and then being rude and defensive when challenged) frustrated us greatly throughout our time with them, and there appears to be a negligence in their responsibilties for those renting through them. In ending our tenancy, they did not appear to be aware of the requirement to provide invoiced evidence of anything chargeable, and when challenged on the absurd cost of deep-cleaning they provided an email-contained text breakdown that didn't contain adequate detail before stating we could not procure another company to conduct the clean and these prices were final. Poor all-round, in essence, and disappointing to see such low standards be so evidently acceptable with an organisation such as this. Stay away.
