My partner and I have had an excellent experience dealing with Richard from Featherstone Leigh. We recently completed the purchase of our first home and Richard has been a constant source of help and guidance throughout the process. We had a number of complications with the seller's solicitors, meaning the sale took over 6 months from start to finish, but Richard really helped drive them on. Being first time buyers, we had a number of questions that Richard was on hand to help with whenever we needed and he always acted professionally, with integrity and complete honesty. We will definitely use Featherstone Leigh again and have already been recommending to others.

Thanks to the Featherstone Leigh team in East Sheen, we finally moved into a lovely flat. Emma, Emily and Tom were really friendly, helpful and professional. It was a pleasure to deal with them. The process from viewing to check-in was handled well and they were really good in corresponding with us all the way, which is really key to a smooth and successful transaction. The fees are reasonable compared to the other agencies we came across with, while we were still looking for a property. Sadly, the property we're renting isn't managed by them, it would've been perfect.

My fiancee and I were looking to rent a new flat and had been in touch with umpteen Estate Agents. Emily went beyond the call of duty on several occasions and was able to secure us a lovely flat that met all our requirements. Called in on Wednesday to ask if they could print/copy me one piece of paper and I offered to pay for it...the young lady who came to my assistance was very nice and helpful but when she turned around for approval of this from her colleague,her revolting colleague turned round with a nasty face and said there a printers up the road and carried on working! There was a brief blip with one member of staff who really didn't measure up to the high standard but that seems to have been dealt with quickly and they no longer work there.

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience. They over promise and under deliver. We had been warned that they sometimes send the "lady from the Richmond office" Sophie, who will tell a great story of how awful other agents are and how she will be available whenever needed. When I said other agents had heard this before, and she just disappeared, she told me she had been furloughed. What was her excuse this time? After hounding us daily to leave the other estate agent, she ghosted us once it was done. As for the others. Had to email Matt the assistant director several times to correct the spelling of our housing details. Communication was terrible. We were told of some viewings after the event. We had felt that the agent was working for our buyer not us, but having spoken to her, sounds like he was pretty poor there too. We sold the house, yes, but for less than the agent has suggested. Glad it's over. It is galling to think how much they earned, given the low quality of the little they did

Okay but not recommended.

They were good property managers, but there is a lack of communication between departments. Also, they have a tendancy to just forward emails from tenant to landlord - they manage admin rather than property. They recommend cleaners and then charge odd amounts for things that haven't been cleaned properly. They also provide costs without explanation or proof. Friendly but do not think.
