Excellent service! We viewed a property with Dominic and he listened to what we were looking for in our 'Forever' home and immediately highlighted another property that we may be interested in. We viewed this property off market quickly had our offer accepted allowing us time to sell ours. We decided to sell through DM&Co. Having had very poor experience of other local estate agents recently I can say that this was as stress-free and a sale and purchase could be and DM&Co were key to that. All the staff (Particularly Ann who did our viewings) were professional polite and really seemed to want to sell our house from us. Ann arranged viewings to suit us and was really helpful with her feedback. Through the conveyancing process the team were on top of where each side were and we managed to move on a date to suit all parties well. Thank you DM&Co.

Great team and outstanding service.

Rob from DM & Co has done an amazing job finding me a tenant for my property in Shirley. Being a landlord for the first time can be very daunting and I can confidently say Rob was great to work with. He took his time to explain the process, regulations and things we need to look out for. He fell in love with property the moment he saw it just as we did when we first bought it. We instructed DM & Co. after meeting a number of local agents and deciding that they seemed like a modern and personable company. Happily, we were correct. From the honest and sensible valuation from Dominic, to being brilliantly guided through the initial process and viewings by Ann (who lined up potential buyers so expertly, that she found us the perfect buyer within about 48 hours of the house going on the market!), to Debbie's thorough pursuit of exchange and completion in the face of a very tricky chain. Having just exchanged on our purchase and sale I'd like to say how professional, helpful and friendly all the staff (especially Ann and Debbie) were at DM&CO Shirley. We had a number of unavoidable setbacks during our sale however DM&CO were superb at sorting everything including arranging new viewings on our property and dealing with other individuals in the chain. If it were not for them I strongly suspect we would not have completed on our purchase and got the house we wanted. A big thank you to you all :)

Couldn’t of wished for better

Very disappointing experience with DM & Co estate agent

Very disappointing experience with D M & Co estate agents. All went well to start with after we signed up with a very nice competent young sales negotiator, however things soon changed when he mysteriously left the company without any warning or explanation.The replacement sales negotiator soon proved to be a pure novice at negotiating, leaving us in a poor situation with three prospective purchasers, even when trying to resolve matters with their director Craig Simmonds as per their policy we were given the statement “well ask yourself if you really want to sell it” that’s some business accument.I would not use or recommend D M & Co estate agents to anyone looking for an estate agent in the Solihull area.

STAY AWAY!

I rented a property for 6 months from this company and it’s by far the most horrific and unprofessional company I’ve ever come across. I got my keys and on entering the property you could smell how dirty it was. The carpet in living room had been so badly worn it had holes in it (when I view the property before it had tenants living in it and this as covered by furniture). Some of the rooms were wallpapered. Obviously lack of cleaning done. I did the inventory hive where you tick of the picture taken by the estate a gent matched the description, it did so I ticked it. All this was via email and before I got the keys to actually see it bare. I was horrified at the state of the place and called them immediately. Banister rail was loose, the back door had dropped, the front door leaked, all interior doors were very hard to open, the showers had been leaking as there was mould on kitchen ceiling directly below, boiler lost pressure when the heating was on and much more. They rectified a few things. Now over the 6 months I was there they did get things sorted (4months before an electrician was employed to fix the smoke alarms). Now I did not receive my full bond back as they took money off me £15 for dust on light fitting, and £25 for paint work that had been scratched (previous tennant painted white paint on brown plastic windowsills). I left the property in an immaculate state. It was much cleaner then when I moved in. Besides Annabelle being the most stuck up rude and unprofessional person I also think I’ve been misled and taken advantage of. As i imagine they took bond money off previous tenants for the decorating issues they did not however rectify this and restore the house to neutral decor. I don’t mind find taken off if I have damaged anything but they seem to take your money and not repair anything!

The other agents told me there was a ‘ceiling’ price for property on my road and valued accordingly. I didn’t agree and sought a valuation from DM which came in at exactly the price I had in mind. They then promptly sold it at that price within 6 weeks!! I could have been very out of pocket if I hadn’t trusted Dominic Murphy. I have recommended them to friends and would use them again. Overall very pleased with the service throughout.

Quite simply, the Best Estate agent in Solihull!

I have used DM & CO Homes in Solihull a number of times now. They sold an apartment for us in Hall Green, then Sold both of our detached larger homes in Solihull. They got top money for the houses, the marketing was top notch, and they got viewings in very fast. Both transactions were very long winded and very complex (massive chains and we were selling two and buying 1 - which fell through half way and we had to find another house!) DM&CO took this all in their stride, were always a pleasure to work with, and we completed on both. I would have no hesitation to recommend, and have already sent a few friends to DM&CO already, who have purchased houses in Solihull and have had the same experience. Top Team, Top brand, and going from strength to strength. Keep it up guys, and i'll be in touch for my next move soon!

Corrupt company managed by vile people.

0 stars Avoid renting a property with this company especially the Bradford office and the vile letting agent Mo. He will push you into paying a holding deposit (another word for an admin fee) with no intentions of letting you the property or paying you back your deposit. As a single mother who has just been ripped off. I find companies and people like this absolutely repulsing, with no morals whatsoever. I wouldn't advise anyone to use this company as a tenant or a home owner. One word corrupt.

Totally excellent!

I am so pleased,and relieved,that I instructed DM&Co to sell my mother’s house after her demise earlier this year. I was at a disadvantage being quite a distance away,but the team,particularly Ann were brilliant,and very quick. We got a number of interested buyers within a week,and a firm sale by the next week,at a very good price. Ann’s pastoral care,in difficult circumstances,was outstanding,she really went the extra mile and more!After the sale was agreed,Debbie took over to push the process along.
