We received excellent service from all of the team at DM & Co. in Dorridge. Special thanks go to the professional approach provided by Matt, Lisa, Rav and Cathy who handled our sale. Overall they made the experience as painless as one could hope for and dealt with the hiccups straightforwardly.We had a similar experience to others whereby DM & Co. replaced another estate agency. They sell your property proactively rather than just take a few photos and list it on Rightmove.DM & Co. provides a quality service. We recommend them highly.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Rav who is based at the Dorridge branch of DM and Co. Don’t expect any help.

Trying to talk to someone is just ridiculous. No one can do anything and always passes to another person which leads to waiting for a callback that never happens. Do not use for rentals

Do not use for rentals. There is a cost of living crisis of which this company is taking advantage of it with overvalued properties and fees. I paid a holding fee which equates to one weeks rent whilst going through necessary checks. I was truthful that I had a little adverse credit from over 5 years ago but I had an amazing reference from my current landlord of 10 years (of which they knew him as he uses them for some of his properties) plus a steady job. It was taking this agent over a week to get back to me about anything, never returned calls and I was growing concerned. Unbeknown to me, if you also don’t earn three times the rent of the property, you will also fail their checks as they will deem you unable to afford payments. I tried arguing that I could afford it because even after rent, I still had over £1k left and it’s a little unfair to set such judgments on people. They even agreed that they knew I could afford it but it wasn’t up to them but down to their policies etc. I couldn’t get a guarantor which prompted them to say didn’t I have a partner who could move in to bump up the financial figures or guarantor me. Therefore I ended up losing my ‘holding fee’ which is a considerate sum and if this company does this to 10 people a week, they are making a packet for nothing. What gives them The right to put people over a barrel like this?!!! It’s extortion!!! Especially with the current climate and people needing homes and struggling with increasing prices of food, gas and electric. A house is a necessity, people need to live and be safe but this agent seems to be very discriminatory and setting unrealistic benchmarks.

Sadly, I failed to instruct DM & Co. soon enough. I had my head turned by an agent that could get me much more money. DM & Co. had come to see me first time round and i kicked myself very quickly when the other agents promised buyers continued to fail to materialise.
