Googleavoid at all costs. the worst company ever. Expensive, frustrating and extremely stressful to deal with. This company has cost me well over a £1000 through there incredible lack of experience and relentless ineptitude. I have only been with them for 14 months and the problems are endless and no one ever does anything to fix anything. Knowing what i know now i wouldn't even let this company rent out my property with 0% maintenance charge. Totally and utterly incompetent and should not be allowed to manage properties.

Googlestonehouse (now dj alexander) have left me in a mouldy leaking flat with broken windows for over 10 months now, despite reporting it consistently they’ve not only ignored me but blamed me. i was even mocked when i reported the radiator not working, claiming im too stupid to know how to turn it on. they’re currently showing this flat in the hopes of finding new tenants, and have not told viewers of the property about the damage in the roof. the folk who came to view it today were disgusted with the mould around all the windows. the mould is thick and black and has caused me to become unwell. it is embarrassing as a company for you to think people would want to live in a state like this, and seeing the other reviews makes me confident that it’s not just me in this position. the person holding the viewing told the viewers the wrong move in date, and then back tracked and stated they couldn’t confirm a move in date with the damage to the property. there was no inventory list during the viewing and she had to ask me what the landlord owned and what i owned. she then asked me if the property had gas or just electric, and if the electric meter was pay as you go or monthly! you’re the leasing agent, you should know these things! the bottom door to the building does not securely lock and often homeless and drunk people are asleep or arguing in the stairwell. it’s no wonder they’ve changed company name, as stonehouse is known around aberdeen for the awful way it treats tenants

I am landlord & DJ Alexander are looking after my flat in Edinburgh for last couple of years. I am very unhappy with services I received. There is no named person responsible for my flat. Therefore, at every occasion I communicate with a new person & have to start from scratch. They don't bother to reply to emails & even don't acknowledge. This happen repeatedly over last couple of years ie after few correspondences they disappear & don't bother to reply or acknowledge emails. Most recent I sent email 10 days ago but no one reply or acknowledge. This is their regular practice. All they remember to detect fee every month. Very disappointing & pathetic!

GoogleWe are tenants and living in Glasgow and so far we have a very dissapointing experience with D.J.Alexander As a background story, our flat was managed by Fineholm and then it was passed into D.J.Alexander The first and major issue we had reported to Fineholm ever since we moved in, is that our underfloor heating is not working properly. The thermostats are broken and can not adjust the temperature. We have had incidents where the heating would increase on its own, making the flat scalding hot. While we have extensively reported the following to Fineholm and D.J.Alexander should have had a clear picture of this, they claim they don't. We had inspections with D.J.Alexander where we are bringing this matter up and say they will resolve it, only to leave to us, the tenants to resolve the issue. They said to us that they do not know of the issue and our landlord is not aware which I don't know how many times I left incidents about the following. Their contractors would come to the flat saying this needs to be fixed and nobody is following up from there Also, we have a water leakage from Thursday, going into the downstair flat. They insisted on having a plumber appointment very late at Thursday and kept us waiting the whole day and night only to promise us they will fix it. Based on the heating issue and overall poor responses from D.J.Alexander and our landlord, we said that D.J.Alexander should own this incident and do not let us, the tenants resolve the issue. On Friday 16.52 time, we received a message from a plumber service that is supposed to be their emergency service, saying their offices are open 9am till 5pm which is apparently very late for us to do anything. I called the plumber service highlighting that we have a water leakage and they said they will call us back. Contractor plumbing service or D.J.Alexander never called us back and they closed our incident without being resolved! Essentially, D.J.Alexander left us with a water leakage from Thursday evening to Monday morning at best. I am giving this review to fellow tenants to not choose D.J.Alexander if they can, as I can not understand what added value companies like Fineholm or D.J.Alexanders are addding for the tenants other than creating incidents. They leave to us, the tenants to follow up with DJ.Alexander so they can contact landlords. It has been a very stressful experience and mind you we are paying a generous rent only to be treated this way

GoogleI went to see a property today and I was received at the flat by Finn Anthony who was very nice, he showed me around, and answered all my questions. The online system to book the viewing was quite straitforward, although sometimes is hard to find many options available. But since it is my first experience renting in Glasgow, I have to say it is very good so far.
