Outstanding Croudace team and houses
I had the pleasure of visiting the Croudace show homes and the team were welcoming,

Narrow roads and ridiculous parking from your would-be neighbours! Each property has allocated parking spaces and most have their own driveways and garages but residents choose to park on-street and mounting pavements. Croudace thought putting a "Drive Safely" sign would help but a No Parking sign specially at junctions would be more appropriate. Informed the office of this issue and they could not be any less interested hence a review here!

Lindfield, the Beech
Gray and Kevin did an excellent job sorting out the rebuilding of a small cardboard door. Their efforts in cleaning the stairs and rolling the dust sheets are commendable. It would have been better if they could cut a small hole in the cardboard door to let me turn on or off the shower switch.

Thank you Suzie and Marta
We recently moved into our new home at Hermitage Park in Aylesford, and we couldn’t be happier. The property is finished to an exceptionally high standard and quality, and despite having only been here for a few days, it already feels like home. One of the standout aspects of our experience with Croudace has been the exceptional service provided by Suzie and Marta at the sales office. Their professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness truly set them apart. After visiting several other developments, it was clear that Suzie and Marta’s approach was unique. Their ability to make us feel comfortable, valued, and confident in such a significant purchase was a key factor in our decision.Their support throughout the process was truly exceptional, and it was an absolute pleasure working with them. We highly recommend Croudace to anyone looking for a new home, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to Suzie and Marta for making this journey so smooth and enjoyable.Thank you once again, we are absolutely delighted!Wass Family

Sales Manager Croudace Homes
I dealt with the Sales Manager, Roger Farr, when considering the purchase of a property on Croudace Homes' Priory Grove development in Oxford. From the outset I found Roger to be helpful, informative, efficient and always amenable.During the purchase process he kept me up to date with the progress of the build and subsequently progress of Croudace's legal team. When I requested an additional kitchen appliance to be fitted Mr Farr arranged this willingly and with his usual helpful approach. Post completion of the purchase of the property Roger remained helpful in answering any queries I had.

Alin and Lukasz were great!
Croudace has an incredible staff who takes care of your house after completion. Any small bits that needed done in terms of fixing some bits here and there (painting, cleaning etc) they will do it for you. Alin and Lukasz were very helpful and came back multiple times to help me including mastic of my mirrors.

Great experience
There was some damage in my property caused by an exterior leak. Communication has been great with Croudace. They sent out Jason Capone - Taylor (Customer Care) who was helpful and a pleasure to be around. He did a great job with the patch-up work caused by the leak which I am very pleased with.

Croudace Homes corporate volunteering programme is amazing
Croudace Homes have supported the project I run, Hitchin Youth Allotment (HiYA), several times through their corporate volunteering programme. HiYA teaches young people where food comes from and gets them involved in a really hands on way. Every time, Croudace have been amazing, great skills and really get stuck in. They have become invaluable to our expansion programme. They give their time so generously and the people who come are always lovely. I can't speak too highly of them.

Nothing is too much trouble
A company is only as good as the staff they have working for them , Ana and Steve at The Croft Knebworth are both exceptional , nothing is ever too much trouble. I’ll miss them both when they move to another site.

Avoid at all costs
They are great until you have bought your home, then they do not agree to fix anything without a massive amount of complaints. I have had enough after several leaks and mould, and building over the damp layer I am completing a complaint with the NHBC. Avoid at all costs unless you want a headache for the next 10 years

Great homes and service
We bought a Croudace Homes 2 years ago and could not be happier. After having a bad experience with a previous new build this has been a breath of fresh air. The quality of the build has been very good and the snags that we have picked up during the warranty period were promptly resolved with no fuss. Would happily recommend.

Complete Shambles
Having lived in our Croudace home for a little over 3 years now, I would not recommend buying a new house from them.Unfortunately it feels to us as if much of the house is designed to only last as long as the 2 year warranty period, after which things begin to fall apart. When originally completing on the house, it was handed over to us with a number of defects and issues which should have been sorted long before moving in (i.e. dents in patio doors, lights not working, cracked glass, toilets not attached to wall) - This is a fact, and was acknowledged in person on move in day. This is not defamatory. The finish in a number of areas was also dreadful, having looked like something had hacked away at a number of skirting areas. This is pathetic considering how much money you are handing over, and also just feels to us that Croudace really couldn't care less if they are happy to hand over a property with a number of glaringly obvious issues. The paint job on the house is also dreadful. You can literally see the raw plasterboard through the paint. The thinnest most pathetic layer was applied to the whole house, and the best part, if you even touch it or accidently scratch something across it, the entire wall marks and the paint lifts off, as I have experienced multiple times. You can't even wipe the wall without it leaving a mark. It's feels like they used milk to paint the walls.Another issue we had is that our ensuite shower turnt into a death trap. The door used a physical latch rather a magentic strip like most shower doors. One day whilst I was out, my partner got stuck in the shower where the latch broke, and she was forced to smash down the shower frame. Now imagine this was an older person with not much strength? Who would have helped them get out? Croudace agreed to replace the shower but this is where even more problems began. The shower was ripped out, which resulted in a tile cracking, and as the tiles we had were no longer available, we had to get the entire bathroom retiled, and also the wall on which the tiles sit ripped out and re-plastered. Come time to fit the new shower, the wall is not flat and the metal frame does not sit water tight.... So process repeats, wall comes out along with the tiles, new wall in andddd, not flat again... Not once did I see a spirit level used, it took myself to go and check the wall to see if it was flat. How on earth you manage to install a wall and make it have a massive dip in the middle I do not know. Croudace even tried telling my partner in person there is not an issue and it doesn't matter? In the end we result to a work around with the tiles being packed out to make up the difference, which is obviously not ideal. This process took 6-7 months and Croudace didn't seem bothered at all that we were without a functioning ensuite for so long (in a new house mind you). A few months later the shower head stops working. For some unknown reason, a genius decided that a shower with an electrically controlled button should be used! The rubber seal had gone on the button and water leaked in to the controls and the unit had to be replaced. It is likely the same issue will happen again in the future and guess what, we will now be liable to pay for a replacement!Fast forward a few more months, the grout and silicone is coming apart on the tiles and floor, and the shower is now leaking out of the tray, and into the ceiling below! We resorted to fixing this ourselves as we did not trust Croudace and their questionable contractors to fix this.We have experienced even more issues, recently one of the windows has broken and doesn't open, great! Extractor fans don't work, hob extractor fans have broken, tiles are randomly cracking, toilets are leaking. Nothing is built to last in these houses, which I suppose is a job well done for Croudace as long as its outside the 2 year warranty period! A nice bonus for the executives for sure!We have gone to install a stair runner, which involved ripping up the old carpet, only to find out that somebody has put our staircase together horrifically, and a riser is completely detached, along with a number of other steps being in poor condition. We will now have to fix this ourselves, and it is not a small job. Why was I not surprised... They even left a sticker on one of the steps showing who did the job as if they were proud of the finished product!Since submitting this review I have received a complaint of Croudace flagging it for containing defamatory content. I don't understand how factual information about my own house which I purchased for several hundred thousand pounds is defamatory? I haven't even been contacted with an apology, instead they try to get the review of MY EXPERIENCE removed. To me this just further illustrates their attitude towards their customers. I do not recommend a Croudace Home at all, and I refuse to be silenced.

Couldn't be happier with Customer Care
Steve P is amazing! We have been in our property built by Croudace for around a year and half. In that time, we haven't had many problems at all. However, when things have cropped up, as you would expect in a new build, we have been very fortunate to have Steve P (customer care and maintenance) on hand to help us.My partner and I are teachers so aside from school holidays, we can't be at home when things need doing. Steve accommodates this without a problem, we provide him a key and he gets the job done, letting us know any updates as he goes. His is extremely professional, even down to tidying afterwards and treating our home with respect. Every job is completed to a high standard and we are never waiting longer than we need to. This is also partly down to Shrina who is our point of contact via email when problems occur, also very professional and timely in responses. We have been extremely lucky to have Steve work on our home when required, he is a huge asset to Croudace!
