Management Company Hell

6 years on from moving into our new home, we’re still stuck with HML, the management company appointed by Croudace Homes. HML are possibly one of the worst companies we have ever had to deal with, and Croudace are turning a blind eye to their profiteering through exorbitant service charge fees. Despite having moved in 6 years ago, we aren’t able to remove them because the Croudace is still controlling the management company (apparently the council haven’t got round to adopting some of the roads yet). HML have demonstrated that they aren’t able to conduct basic maintenance (despite paying their suppliers for it), can’t do basic maths or provide an explanation of how they’ve come to the charges they have for our property. On asking for a breakdown of our charge for a 6-month period, we were threatened (repeatedly) with bailiffs and further ‘recovery’ charges, despite having it in writing that all recovery action had been paused whilst they figured out how to send us a very basic calculation that they had supposedly already completed…to top it all off, their ‘customer services’ responded to a complaint by gaslighting me into submission. Croudace have been told all of this, but are actively turning a blind eye - so much for being a 5* rated house builder, once they’ve got your money they don’t give a monkeys…

Poor management

I purchased a croudace home in Dec 2021, i was one of the first to move in. The company still have ongoing works. I have been mis-sold and mislead on a number of things, including an EV charging point and solar panels. I also unfortunately live next door to 2 show homes and the security alarms have been going off at all hours. I have sent numerous emails and been into the show home personally a number of times to report. There is no contact number held by the security firm to contact a croudace employee. It has woken my 1 year old up numerous times. One of the sales and marketing director is rude and does not care about home owners in the slightest. I have even got an apology for any of the issues i've had, not even a small jester of good will. Ive just been told repeatedly croudace haven't done anything wrong and out right ignored.

We were excited to commit to buy our new build home with Croudace Homes Ltd in Blakemore Manor, Hertford.This was arranged with the on-site sales team comprising Nikki, Sarah and Danni.Being a new build, the purchase process was spread across several months. During this time there were numerous meetings, emails and phone discussions with the sales team. House of errors

Buy a Croudace house if you want to experience numerous structural issues that take forever to get fixed. And once they are fixed they have to come out and do them, again and again, because they try and fix them on the cheap - For instance this morning I heard a tradesmen say- Just wack it up otherwise this will cost me 1000's... Honestly worst property i have ever brought!
