I had a great experience with Croudace. I visited Willowbrook Didcot for the first time in August over a weekend on an open day. From the day one until the time we purchased and secured handover in December I found Charlotte being really supportive. Cleared all of my doubts and remained humble and friendly since I purchased new house for the first time hence was bit nervous but she was transparent, technically sound and knowledgeable throughout the time and answered all my queries. Even now post handover in December she always remain available and prompt in response. The entire process was smooth, excellent and outstanding. Me and my family are enjoying living here in Didcot. Thanks to Charlotte and the team for helping me in first home-buying experience very positive.

My experience with Croudace Homes has been far from satisfactory, and unfortunately, the friendly sales team at Blakemore Manor is the only redeeming factor in an otherwise disappointing journey with this homebuilder. Lowest quality materials, poor workmanship, incompetence in some cases resulted in lots of snags and structural problems. The company's response to complaints about legitimate issues has been nothing short of appalling, showcasing a severe lapse in customer service, technical knowledge and a failure to uphold the standards in the homebuilding industry.

I’d like to thank Nikki at the Hertford site.My parents moved into their home November 2023 and they are elderly and the move was nerve racking for them especially when they sold their home and dealing with the chain.Nikki was very patient and took her time explaining everything from signing the paperwork, choosing choices and moving in. I cannot fault anything, even their home has been built and finished really well.What has really impressed me was my parents moved in a struggled with the internet, utilities, TV system and Nikki just went out her way and helped them which I’ve never seen before in a sales personMy parents were tricked by sky to have there stream box and we just didn’t notice until it turned up and Nikki knew what it was and helped sort the issue out, she helped connect the internet and advised what internet cables they need to hardwire the tab system. I have no clue and couldn’t help my parents but I am so grateful that Nikki has gone above 5 stars. My parents home is beautiful and they are so happy moving into a new home with no issues with heating, etc. all of this could not of happened if Nikki wasn’t on the case. Well done Croudace for having such a wonderful sales person Nikki

Right from the start to finish and afterwards Nikki at Blakemore Manor has gone above and beyond, in actual fact beyond beyond. Very friendly, smiley and welcoming every time we popped into the sales office. We were shown all the plans in great detail, allowed us to take our time with all the silly questions and visit our lovely home as and when we were able to pending the building works. Communication from Nikki and team were spot on and Nikki knew practically all the answers to our questions and nothing was too much for her. We are truly grateful for all of Nikki’s help After we moved in she came to see how we were getting on and kindly answered more questions and she even helped us connect the hive heating so we can use the app, what really surprised me I had no clue how to set up my internet and she helped me out. I have never seen such a lovely person who made time for us and never made us feel like we were in the way or taking too much time.The knowledge she has of Croudace’s homes is amazing. We have been very happy with the whole experience of buying our new Croudace home in Tenterden. The standard of the house is excellent and the overall development has had a lot of thought gone into the landscaping. The two ladies in the sales office were very helpful and professional and guided us through the whole process, which was greatly appreciated. The only negative is that the entrance to our driveway is very narrow which makes the turning into it rather difficult and has spoiled the experience somewhat, and Croudace are reluctant to address this.

What an amazing team at Blakemore Manor, Hertford. We are renting one of there new homes and Nikki has just been amazing helping explaining anything we didn’t understand. We tried to buy one of these beautiful homes but we couldn’t make it work for now with the mortgage. Back when we was looking Nikki spent a lot of time the us, taking about each home, what the process is and she even took us to view some that we in a good build stage for us to view. She really knows her stuff Even though we rented here our new home is amazing, quality of finish, the products that are used even to the smallest detail. I also found reading through Trustpilot and gave me courage to come and live at the Hertford development. The other reviews from other sites are helpful to. Croudace’s you have employed very professional staff. If they are all like Nikki you are doing something right. The site team have also been on hand if needed through the customer service team who are also very friendly and approachable.

Recently a potential problem was identified within the Common Land area of our small group of houses. We had suffered no inconvenience and even though nearly a decade had passed Croudace, after a thorough investigation, took on board the issue and remedied it at no cost to ourselves. Based on personal experience, I would highly recommend Croudace to any potential home buyer.

Very cheap building materials.Having lived and owned several different new builds in the UK and abroad, I never seen such poor quality.We purchased in Hertford, Blakemore Manor, and it’s very disappointing to see the quality of all the materials used, from the floorboards to the doors, and probably the worse thing are the windows that although are double glazed, they don’t stop any sound coming in.We hear from neighbours that they have non stop leaks (which thankfully we still haven’t had this issue) and many of the same issues we have.Their excuse is that it is normal and things will settle but it’s only getting worse.I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.Really poor quality.UPDATE: on the very same day I wrote this review and said that unlike our neighbours we hadn’t had a water leek, we now suddenly had one - call it Murphy’s Law…On the positive side, the staff that is in charge of fixing the many issues that the poor materials will cause, they are actually good, unfortunately I fear what will happens after the two years warranty expires…

Croudace have refused to deal with our waterlogged garden. There have been numerous on the estate due to the clay sub soil and poor drainage. They are aware of these issues having addressed them for some, but refuse to put in proper drainage for us which leaves us facing a bill of several thousand we did not budget for.During the conveyancing process they did not disclose that we have public sewers and drainage underneath our home before we purchased it which might need to be dug up in future. This information is meant to be disclosed, so it was no surprise that they refused to give out the drainage plans when asked.We were also given incorrect information on work being signed off after I requested a change. I later found this to be untrue and had confirmation of it. After much back and forth they did however rectify this matter.The 'making good' has been very patchy. We have had to redo parts ourselves. We are also finding as time goes by there have been short cuts made with fittings, missing screws, no plugs used, bannister hanging loose etcThe materials used in the bathroom are poor quality, the sink metal started turning black within weeks and the toilet green. I did raise my concerns about this but had no response.It's incredibly disheartening when you pay out such a large sum of money and still have to pay out £1000s to address drainage that should have been addressed, or when your home really isn't as it should be.Unless you really want a particular home in a particular spot and are prepared to deal with potential disappointment or unexpected expense, I wouldn't bother.
