GoogleRadiators didn't work when I moved in back in January, I have reported them numerous times in the last 4 months yet they still haven't been fixed (now it's July). This sucked during February when we had minus temperatures. Floorboards missing in kitchen, wardrobe doors broken, extensive leak in bathroom resulting in water coming through floor if you step close to the sink, all of which have been reported by myself but NOT fixed by countrywide. The only thing I managed to get help with was massive infestation of water bugs when I moved in and the heavily stained mattress, which I'm thankful for as it wasn't the nicest moving into a dirty flat. Flat clearly was not checked before I moved in. I moved out yesterday (11th July) and after sending 3 emails from 8th to the 12th of June explaining that my flatmate was staying in the flat, they still thought we were both moving out. After talking to my flatmate, it turns out he had also explained to them on numerous occasions he wasn't moving out. Quite stressful when they tell you over the phone that a man is coming in 2 hours to take keys off everyone and check us both out, when I'd told them 6 weeks prior just one of us was leaving.. Massive lack of communications must be happening in that office. Unreliable letting agency.

GoogleDO NOT SELL YOUR HOME WITH COUNTRYWIDE...... Only giving one star as unable to do zero. Admin staff were lovely but beware of Gavin when selling your home. At no time does he mention actual figures but lulls you along and tells which deal will be best for you. We actually paid over two grand more than we should. When we phoned him up he was very rude.

GoogleWe are relocating to Glasgow, after having many conversations with various letting agents we found Craig at countrywide West end. He was absolutely amazing and was so helpful, finding us properties which matched our criteria. Fantastic letting agents would reccomend to all.

GoogleIn order to rent out my property, I visited several letting agencies in Glasgow's West End. I felt Countrywide then offered the warmest welcome and the most personal service. I let my house through the Byers Road branch (as it now is) for around four years and I found the service exemplary - always personal, but also speedy, efficient, thorough, reliable and clear. So much so, that, when I eventually came to sell the house, I went to Countrywide as the Estate Agent of my choice.

GoogleReally good experience with Countrywide on the recent sale of my 2 bed flat. From meeting Gavin when he came to discuss the sale it was clear he was very professional and knowledgeable in his field. Once the process was started Bobby and his team (Megan and James) were fantastic. Calling every day to arrange viewings as well as to provide feedback on prior viewings and where the process was at as well as giving regular updates and advice on what happens next. As a first time seller these guys made it an easy seamless process, kept me informed and advised throughout and removed my concerns that selling a house was an extremely stressful thing to do. These guys made sure it wasn't! Flat sold over home report in less than 2 weeks with 4 offers on the table. Thanks again guys, James.

GoogleWe chose Countrywide Westend from our shortlist of possible Agents primarily because of Gavin's visit to our property in Glasgow's West End. He was very professional and personable and gave us confidence that Countrywide would do the very best for us. After that, most of our interactions were with Megan who was also wonderful. Very responsive, calm and level-headed in dealing with our concerns. We had a range of prices in mind that we expected/hoped our property would sell for, but it went pretty quickly for a price above that range, and we have the team at Countrywide to thank for that.

GoogleI would highly recommend any sellers to market their property with Countrywide. I was keen to sell my Victorian property quickly as seen with a number of issues flagged in the home report. The team at Countrywide West end were fast and efficient, they encouraged me in relation to the price, the valuation was spot on and they found me a buyer at the right price in less than six weeks. I was blown away by their personal and dedicated service. Huge thanks to Bobby Allan and his team for their total professionalism and commitment to the sale of my property.

GoogleI cannot praise Countrywide Kirkintilloch highly enough for their first class service. They were of invaluable assistance to us some years ago in marketing our property and the purchase of our present home. Now we are on the move again and find they still operate to the same high standard. All the staff are absolutely lovely. They are friendly, helpful, and supportive while being totally professional. My son also recently moved house with their help and I now consider Countrywide to be our "family" Estate Agents and recommend them to all our friends. GoogleI tried to sell my house with Countrywide Dennistoun. It was my first house and I was not completely aware of all the ins and outs of the process. I mean they are friendly. So there's that. Never will I ever use their services again. Not even to buy one of their houses. I picked them because they made me believe that I would easily be able to get at least my money back if not more. And maybe I was expecting too much from them, but for the commission they've asked, you'd expect a bit more. 4 months in, not one offer. Many people visited even though they clearly had no interest in the house (or no mortgage secured to buy it). Made me waste my time and money by missing work to do the visits as the real estate agents never offered to do the visit themselves which I found odd ( I'm from France, back home, owner would never do the visits). My house is in a dead end street, putting a sign "for sale" in front of it was pointless as nobody apart from my neighbours were able to see it. After being told the market was slow and making me drop the price twice, they proceeded to give me vague updates every 2/3 weeks assuring me they were doing their best by sending my property advert by email to their list of potential buyers. Which I very much assumed would be directly redirected to those people's junk mail box. After 3 months and almost a half, I made the decision to leave them, to which they gracefully charged me almost £600. £400 for the Home Report which is fair. But £200 for absolutely nothing, otherwise known as "Marketing costs". If I hire a plumber, and the plumber is incompetent, I don't pay him. If the price of entry was too high, it was for them to tell me so and drop it when the house was first put on the market. For the little amount of work that has been done, you may as well hire one of those online companies. They might be able to do more for you at a much cheaper price.

GoogleToilet has been broken for almost two months. Countrywide are slow, unreliable and complete joke. Can never get through on the phone. Avoid at all costs.
