Their agent Gavin Dillon was extremely helpful in advising me how to make the property look it's best for the photographs and video. After engaging with another Estate Agents in the West End of Glasgow and being incredibly disappointed, I was thoroughly impressed with the service from Countrywide. My property went on the market in November 2020 and was sold by January 2021. As the sale occurred during the global pandemic, it was key that Countrywide support me on visits, as I was unable to visit the property. We were selling our property and had several estate agents out in a short period of time. Gavin from countrywide was the last one of the day and we were going to make a quick phone call to cancel. Simply could not be happier that we didn't make that call. Gavin was honest, professional and particularly pleasant to deal with. He gave us an idea of what to expect and in what kind of time frame the current market was moving. We were then passed to Kirstin, Megan and Julie in the office who kept us constantly up to date and in the loop with viewings and interest and feedback. The nicest thing is the agents don't even have the curtecy to reply to an email when a house is about to sell, I'm fact they just wait till you call them to chase up about a house you're interested only for them to tell you it has already sold, to make matters worse, they're pushy in getting you to use their solicitors and mortgage advisors and some are downright arrogant when it comes to first time buyers, needless to say, estate agents are themselves an industry middle man that really shouldn't exist any more, need more only listing agents to take over, wish more sellers would just use purple bricks, so far the only estate agent /house advertiser that haven't been a downright nightmare to deal with. Much more to the point and generally plesent viewing agents with a system that gives everyone involved equal opportunity.NegativeProfessionalism
