Very happy with the service provided by the letting team for renting my flat. I appreciated it took little time and the fact that the team was very responsive to my queries. Unfortunately, the positive feeling above changed over time. A) Any time there was something to repair in the flat as per tenant's request, communication was rather poor with no follow-up on what reparations were made, status, etc. - and B) lots of problems to terminate the letting to put the flat on sale, with deliberate attempts to prevent contact with the tenant and delay the process. As a landlord, not happy at all of how things have been managed.

From our introductory meeting with Countrywide’s sales manager Gavin, we knew that the sale of our property would be in reliable hands. He displayed an extensive knowledge of the local property market and always provided us with clear and concise information in a down to earth manner, which made us feel very much at ease. Gavin provided us with a very competitive market valuation and also helped to arrange for a Home Report to be carried out prior to our property going onto the market. From there, Kirstin and the sales team at the Byres Road branch took over the next phase of the sale. We found the sales team to be most helpful whenever we had any queries and we were always given advanced knowledge of any arranged viewings and provided with regular feedback. We were delighted to learn that a satisfactory bid had been received in what felt like a very short space of time, and the sale of our property was completed soon after. This is testament to the fine work carried out on our behalf by Countrywide. In summary, we were very pleased with the professional service provided by Countrywide and found their marketing fees, etc to be very straight forward and fair, with no hidden costs. We would have no hesitation in recommending Countrywide when selling a property.

After having my property on the market with a competitor some time back and it not selling or having one viewer in the first month, all the staff at Countrywide Kirkintilloch not only got us an amazing offer ( 5 offers) way over the asking price, but could have had it sold within the week too!! It took 2 weeks but this was because we wanted to keep it on he market for this time. They did a fantastic job of carrying out viewings ( over 30)!There could have been a lot more but we took Fiona’s correct advice and decided on a closing date.
