I lived in a private let for 9 months and within this time period i had no issues with countrywide. They were amazing from start to finish. Liased with the landlord to get myself and my children into the property as my circumstances were desperate. The landlord wasn't the most reliable at dealing with issues or answering the phone but they persevered as i did not want to deal with the landlord directly. The property management manager Callum Sloan took over my case and i cannot sing his praises enough. He was empathetic & patient with excellent communcation skills. He went over & above for me every time & i'm very grateful. Was even up for a bit of banter. Customer service 10/10. Cannot sing his praises enough. I would definitely recommend countrywide as a letting agent and use them again going forwards. Thank you Callum!!

Massive thank you to Jennifer Middleton for all her help during the process of buying our first home. I rented a property from countrywide, had a really bad experience there were issues with leaks, which they took weeks on end to fix, at one point we were living there with a really bad smell coming from the bathroom as the toilet was leaking we suffered for weeks on end, kept telling us they couldn’t get hold of landlord to get permission for repairs, absolutely sick, didn’t carry out gas safety checks we were there over a year, the carbo monoxide alarm wasn’t working, before i left I cleaned the property thoroughly left it absolutely sparkling as I wanted my deposit back, but guess what it’s been nearly 4 months and they are fighting me to keep my deposit saying the property wasn’t cleaned and I had damaged the property, I don’t know how they are getting away with all these lies just to steal my deposit . One unhappy and angry tenant , I would give them a minus star if it was possible , getting through wasn’t easy sometimes it was a couple of days before I had contact with them

Very disappointing experience with Countrywide Glasgow. I booked a viewing a week in advance, did not pursue other properties, and the appointment was reconfirmed on the same day. I took time off work and travelled a long distance to view the property, only to be told on arrival that the property had already been let. When I called, I was simply told, “Sorry,” but what about my time waste, travel costs and inconvenience? Unfortunately, I would never use Countrywide again and would not recommend them.
