GoogleTo be honest I had never heard of Circa beforehand but my experience was very positive . Maddie has a very friendly approach and when I popped into their office the team gave off the same impression. All the admin stuff was overseen by Kate who did a great job too. I’d be happy to recommend them to any landlord or tenant . Thanks

From start to finish, the team was super helpful and supportive throughout the entire process. Our point of contact, Riley, was especially wonderful, always responding quickly to any questions and making the experience as smooth as possible. GoogleExcellent customer care from Umar and Maddie. They helped me find an apartment and made the process fast and efficient. Umar was an excellent property manager - always very helpful and responsive. I did not enjoy the service provided by Marissa during the renewal process, it felt very pushy and less polite. However, besides this one episode, I had a positive experience with Circa

GoogleThis has been the most frustrating and disappointing rental experience I’ve EVER had. If you’re considering renting from Circa, especially the Shoreditch branch, save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. My property manager, Shireen, has been completely unprofessional and unresponsive when it comes to returning my tenancy deposit. It’s been over TWO months since I moved out, and despite countless follow-ups, false promises, and endless frustration, I still haven’t received my deposit. After I moved out, I received the checkout inventory but no information on when to expect my deposit back. After sending multiple emails I finally heard back from Shireen in 1.5 months after moving out. Shireen confirmed there was only fair wear and tear on the property, meaning my full deposit should have been returned without any issue. Despite this, she didn’t follow up or keep me updated. I had to chase her daily, calling, messaging, and leaving notes with other staff, just to get any response. For weeks, I was promised updates and timelines that were never honoured. Shireen even committed to releasing the deposit by specific dates (eg. last Friday, then Monday), but nothing ever happened. It’s beyond OUTRAGEOUS that a process as straightforward as returning a tenancy deposit has been dragged out for so long. Even the TDS mandates a response within 10 days, yet this company has ignored every basic standard of professionalism. To anyone considering renting with Circa, think twice. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, you’ll want to avoid this company. I’ve escalated this issue to TDS, as I’m convinced they’ll continue making false promises without taking action. This review will remain here until my deposit is fully returned. Circa needs to be held accountable, and potential tenants deserve to know what kind of experience they might face.

GoogleTotal scam - avoid like a plague. After spending over £600 on professional cleaning, including steaming every carpet before check out, Circa had the audacity to say it wasn’t professionally cleaned! Then they tried to slap us with an extra £240 for a "re-clean." including re-steaming the carpets. I’m beyond furious, I’ve never dealt with a more greedy, manipulative agency. If you don’t want to be taken advantage of and robbed blind, run the other way!

GoogleShameless and unethical - tampering with email records and withholding critical information, Circa is the worst agency I’ve ever dealt with! We rented a flat through Circa for four years, but after moving out, they revealed their true nature. After agreeing to their deposit deductions in good faith, they hit us with an additional cleaning charge over a month later, which they withheld and knew about all along. Worse, they tampered with email records to make it seem like we had agreed to these extra costs from the very beginning.For example, £150 for two £5 dimmer knobs for the light switch? Outrageous! Wish I had read all the traumatising experiences other tenants had on google review before signing my tenancy four years ago. If you value your money and sanity, stay away from this agency!

GoogleI had a very positive experience with Circa. Isabelle Jenkins showed me a flat around Southwark and as a result of that meeting, I am now living in said flat. She was very helpful in answering questions with enthusiasm, and really tried to help things along. I've heard plenty of horror stories about certain estate agencies, but I really trusted Isabelle and Circa throughout the process.
