Yates Lodge - a fun place to live

I visit Yates Lodge to conduct seated yoga classes. The owner's lounge is beautifully decorated, comfortable and welcoming and you can see that it is a real hub of activity for owners. Jo, the Lodge Manager, really cares for the owners and has a great rapport with them. This is the kind of person you'd want helping you, or someone you love. Great location too - many of the owners have said how wonderful it is to have shops, pubs, and entertainment facilities all within a short walk.

I live in a Churchill Lodge which is perfect for a still mobile but 93 year old.

I live in a Churchill Lodge which is extremely well run by our Manager. She sees that all the.maintenance requirements laid down by Churchill for our comfort, wellbeing and safety are carried out. She promotes our social activities and cares about the happiness of all the residents. The building is well constructed and sound proofing is good. The garden could be better planned and at the moment there is adequate parking. My experience is over six years.

Cavendish Lodge, Glastonbury. A great place to live and work.

I’ve worked at Cavendish Lodge as a contractor since it was opened in 2006 and have to say it is one of the best retirement homes in the area. Plenty of activities for the residents, who are always pleasant and friendly. The lodge has a homely feel, is kept spotlessly clean and everything is maintained and ran very well by the lodge manager.

Trinity Lodge Formby

My parents live at Trinity Lodge in Formby. They moved there about four years ago and they couldn't be happier - a quiet location just a short walk from the village centre, beautifully maintained gardens and the most wonderful neighbours! I visit regularly and stay in the lovely guest room, which is always spotless and comfortable. Joe, the house manager, is amazing - efficient, helpful and reassuring, he keeps Trinity Lodge running smoothly and is on hand with a smile if anyone needs help or just a little chat.

Worthington Lodge Hythe Kent a great place to live.

We are very fortunate to live in a churchill property Worthington Lodge in Hythe Kent. This year we have had both an upgrade of our call system and currently the public areas are being redecorated. This has all been managed on site by our lodge Manager Liz. Not only does she care about the residents she cares about the property. Nothing is ever too much and she always gets things sorted out as quickly as possible. I would never hesitate in recommending our Lodge as a great place to live in Hythe.

We worked with Churchill's as both buyer and seller and they were excellent on both sides. When we saw the property we would eventually buy, our own home wasn't on the market but they were able to move incredibly quickly. Photography and an open day were organised and within a couple of weeks of deciding to sell we had accepted an offer. From that point through to sales completing they were great to work with and they've continued to be really helpful even after everything has gone through.

We had the pleasure of working with Churchills both for buying and selling our property, and each time the experience was fantastic. During the sale, Martin, Dean, and their team managed a challenging situation with incredible professionalism and determination. Communication was always good and they kept us informed regularly. Their efforts led to a successful outcome for both us and the new buyer. Highly recommended!

Excellent service from Andy and Sally. They knew it was going to be a difficult situation for us (probate sale of a family home) and they handled it so well. They were professional but I also felt like they really cared. I can't thank them both enough for all their help. I would highly recommend using them.

Andy helped us to sell our property and managed to find us a rental in a very short period of time which ticked all the boxes, very happy with the process, with how everything was dealt with, even when we “harass” them with emails/phone calls for updates regarding the sale, everybody were very polite and helpful. Many thanks to the Wanstead team
