I have such positive things to say about Wanstead’s Churchill Estates, and the manager - Jack especially - I could gush for pages! They made my buying and selling procedure a pleasure and not an ordeal. Every, sometimes tricky, situation was smoothly dealt with and arranged for me (independent, great surveyor Danny, building work necessary, dealing with my buyer, removals et al). Nothing was too much trouble and I cannot recommend Churchills enough.

Just retired so young enough to enjoy our new life

My husband and I moved to Dovehouse Lodge, Hitchin in January 2020 having just retired. Prior to our move, Sales were really helpful and kept in touch regularly to answer our many questions. Everything went well with our move. It’s now 6 years since the move and feel it was the best decision we ever made. Dovehouse Lodge is walking distance to the beautiful market town of Hitchin which we love. We are also surrounded by amazing parks and great garden centres so an abundance of places for coffee etc. Dovehouse Lodge is a lovely place to live. We have the most wonderful Lodge Manager, Linda. Linda goes above and beyond to be there for all the owners. Any help or questions we have, Linda is always there. She is kind, helpful and approachable and we count ourselves so lucky to have her looking after us and the Lodge. Eileen Durkin

I rented and subsequently purchased my flat through Churchill Estates. They are exceptionally well versed in what they do. They have the approachability of a local business but have an excellent digital set up as well, with signing contracts etc a breeze. Communication is always prompt, informative and friendly. Having rented through a few agents and managing agents in London, I can heartily recommend Churchill Estates. Thanks to Pearce who handled the initial rental and to Sally and Andy who handled the sale. I couldn't have asked for better service during what can be stressful processes. And a huge special thanks to Property Manager Olivia who consistently went above and beyond during an extensive maintenance issue, making sure everything was good and handling communication between many parties throughout. Negativity of changes at Meadow Court

Moved into Meadow court, Bognor Regis 1 year ago. Management had recently been taken over from not for profit company Housing 21 with whom I had conducted all negotiations. Was assured NOTHING would change under Churchill Estates Management but they have attempted to change everything appertaining to our previous financial arrangements. taking a higher percentage of funds raised by sale of our properties and not paying a percentage of same into our sinking fund (now called a contingency fund) so that any major financial outlay will no longer be covered once this fund is depleted and they can bill us directly (earning yet more of a percentage) They are also trying to foist large expense items onto us which we do not need and have confirmed this with the necessary authorities (who have provided us with legally binding documentation) We are not the normal Churchill Estates property in that we have more autonomy and NO communal areas which is why we differ from their other purpose built estates. However they do not seem able to come to terms with this but are hell bent on raising as much money as possible out of us by foisting all sorts of new arrangements onto us having assured us, in a preliminary meeting with many residents present, that NOTHING would change. This is causing considerable stress on this estate which goes completely against the grain of their promise of "Stress Free Living". Our experience here at Meadow Court is completely the opposite.

I had the absolute pleasure to utilise Churchill Estates in Wanstead to purchase my very first home. After years and years of house-hunting and unsuccessful previous attempts to buy my house, I came across the perfect home for me with Churchill Estates. As a first time buyer I had lots of questions and insecurities. I had the pleasure to deal with Andy, Wanstead Churchill's branch manager, and Lauren who kindly showed me the flat and arranged all the meetings. I’d like to say thank you to Sally and Lauren at Churchills Wanstead, for guiding a complete property novice through what was a long and stressful conveyancing process (not the fault of Churchills) for the purchase of a retirement property. Lauren was there for the viewings and gave me the space and freedom to look round a couple of properties, without being pushy; unlike an experience I had with another company. Sally was there, guiding the sale and keeping us up to date on a regular basis. Both Sally and Lauren would also respond to phone call requests and emails promptly, unlike some experiences that friends and family have had with other estate agents over the years. I normally do not post reviews about professional services but I have to rave about the wonderful care I received from Churchill Estates! I am a first time buyer, and I felt from start to finish very well guided and supported by Sally and Jack. Unfortunately it was a difficult sale, but they were both able to provide advice when needed, both readily contactable by email and phone and I felt they had my best interests at heart. I really appreciated how they were able to liaise between myself, my solicitors, mortgage broker and the sellers side. They were also able to support with negotiations about repairs to the flat prior to completion. The added touch of the goodie box on day of completion was the icing on the cake! Overall could not thank the team enough for all their help and would highly recommend to work with them if you happen to see their team list a property!

Spicer Lodge Stourbridge

Today I visited Spicer Lodge in Stourbridge to do a food tasting event from Wiltshire Farm Foods. I was greeted by Maria the lodge manager and was made to feel very welcome. I had a table set up ready for me which made my job easier. All the residents were so friendly, it was a pleasure to be there today. One thing I noticed too was how tidy the gardens were, which made it a very relaxing place to sit. All in all i really enjoyed my time with everyone there.

Sally was brilliant and she put up with a LOT of difficulty! The seller’s lawyer delayed everything a lot and was then shut down because they were under criminal investigation, which was a nightmare for us and the seller - she kept us updated, she took documents over to the new lawyer, she did everything she could to help. Even after the sale, she let us bring post in to pass onto the seller (they didn’t change their address for quite a while for some reason). She really went above and beyond and was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks Sally!

We recently chose Churchills Estates in Wanstead as our agent to sell our family home, and we were also lucky enough to buy a new property through them. We are so glad that we chose to work with Andy and his team; they made what should be a stressful process completely easy! They are by far the most professional and genuine estate agents in the local area. They listened to what we were looking for and their interest felt authentic and personalised, rather than sales driven. We trusted them with every step of the process. The photos and marketing materials of our house were high quality and with these they managed to secure ample viewings and offers very quickly. The communication throughout the process was always super friendly, honest and timely. Our chain wasn’t straightforward but Sally was very conscientious at providing updates and kept things moving forward. She really went above and beyond, and I’m certain that we wouldn’t have completed so soon without her excellent management of things and positivity. We bought a property for our elderly Mum in Wanstead through Churchill’s last year. For various reasons the process took almost a year to go through and the experience was horrendous for everyone involved. Every issue under the sun came up and it was almost like it was never going to happen. Week after week we kept hitting hurdles and our Mum was going out of her mind with the stress of it all. And yet, throughout the whole thing the team at Churchill’s, lead by Sally and Andy, were always helpful, courteous and professional, driving things along when all the other experts, agents and solicitors were in a mess. I’m not sure it would have eventually gone through had it not been for their assistance.
