J D Wood let my flat in Weybridge. The bad tenant Chris Witts stopped paying the rent and left the flat damaged and very dirty. He would not admit his financial responsabilities, luckily I was able to recover the debt from the deposit through mydeposits.

She was warm and personable, in which I felt comfortable in being honest with her regarding my thoughts and questions. She assisted me with all queries from the very start, in which I had many as you’d expect from a first time buyer. Andrina had made my experience a highly pleasant one in which I felt reassured until the end. I honestly am so thankful that she was in charge of my property purchase. GoogleClaire at CHK Montfort Esher branch is the most professional, knowledgeable and helpful estate agent I've ever dealt with in my 20 years of property buying or renting. My mother recently sold her house in Claygate and wanted to rent in the area. We approached all the various estate agents in the general area, from Surbiton, Richmond, Kingston upon Thames and although all of them were full of smiles and promised the world, not a single one of them followed through. We received some general email circulations none of which contained the specifics we had outlined. However, when we contacted CHK Montfort Claire offered to meet us that very afternoon and gave us a tour of a marvelous property answering all questions and helping my mother with the process of getting together all the documentation and explaining everything in a simple way with great patience and care. Harry was also very helpful in getting details completed and giving us another detailed tour on inventory check in day. I recommend this team for anyone interested in properties in this area.

GoogleClaire was absolutely brilliant in responding to our need to find our son a flat at short notice, and I do mean short notice. We were driving up to Surrey on the off chance of being able to view some properties. By the time we had reached Surrey Claire had arranged several viewings- how's that for responsiveness.she understood exactly what we were looking for and can only thank her for her help. GoogleAfter a sale that fell through CHK Mountfords were very quick and efficient to put the property onto the rental market, where they quickly found a number of potential short term tenants. Being the first time the property had been rented there were a number of actions to be carried out. CHK Mountfords guided us through these in a very competent and efficient manner ensuring the property was rented as quickly as possible. I was particularly impressed with the personal manner of the assistance and advice and that whoever I spoke to in the office they were aware of the current situation and could help. GoogleI have rented from a large number of letting agents, and CHK Mountford (Esher) was, by-far, my best experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Whenever we contacted CHK we were met with friendly staff who remembered who were we, and dealt with our concerns/queries with open discussion and with a real sense of personal engagement. Through all stages of the tenancy, any queries were sorted quickly and information passed on without delay or error, and usually with a personal touch. The contractors CHK recommended were also brilliant, and did excellent work, which instilled trust. From our first viewing (with the very friendly, Harry) there was brilliant service which continued through all of our check-in/check-out logistics (managed smoothly and clearly by Catherine Harris), and even carried on after we had moved out, to tie up any loose ends. This made a time which can be a highly stressful, a lot easier. Unfortunate that we had to move out of the area so soon!

Awful experience. Reached end of tenancy and despite instructions being followed and agreement with the Landlord, no return of deposit as yet. Seem incapable of resolving the issue - or do not want to do so. A sad end to the tenancy and completely unnecessary. I would recommend you look elsewhere.

Claire has been excellent in helping us find a rental properly from abroad. She was super flexible with our requirements and timing and always kept us in the loop once we found the property. She did an extra video viewing and asked many questions to current tenants on our behalf. I would highly recommend Claire and her team and if were to rent again would definitely use them!
