GoogleWas absolutely pleasure to rent the property with CHK Mountford Surbiton. Quick response for all questions by email or phone, professionally prepared documentation. But the most important that all staff members works as a team providing excellent communication skills with positive attitude. :)

GoogleThe worst experience to rent a house that I had in my life. (CHK Esher office)We applied for a house that was published, we sent all the information, we signed a 2-year contract and the landlord signed as well, after receiving the contract signed by both parties, and with 3 days left to move (we are a family of 4, with two children 2 and 3 years old), with the whole house already packed, they called 3 days before to tell us that the references had failed... we already had the contract signed! the "solutions" they offered were crazy: that we pay for a year in advance (£33,000), or that they make us a 6 month contract, let's pay those 6 months in advance and then pay again 6 months in advance. Added to all that, they kept £600 of the deposit.

Worst real estate agency I've ever dealt with. Almost going to bring them to court. Razvan Boerean was our property manager. We have been trying to get our deposit back for more than a year. Every time we called there was some excuse like "He's out for lunch" or "He's on annual leave soon" followed by "he'll call you back". He didn't call us back and we've had to chase our deposit for months. It's been more than a year since we moved out and still haven't gotten our deposit back yet. Furthermore, our emails are just ignored and not even an explanation for such a delay or the costs of any deductions was given. Our naivete has been taken advantage of because we didn't know that our deposit insurance only lasted for 3 months and now they are very obviously just trying to steal our deposit. I have sent the last email to them with a 14 day deadline for an explanation or my deposit back. In a week if I don't receive anything I will take all the evidence I have and bring them to court. Avoid this unscrupulous company for your own safety.

The worst agent service I have ever seen in my life. We have been dealing with them for more than a year. We wrote a letter to them complaining and nothing was ever done. They delegate their work to everyone, they just pretend they work. Never hire them.

It soon became apparent, there was no competition & for over a decade now CHK have looked after my properties, tenants & me. Very friendly, helpful & professional.

GoogleFor the first time in years I had to find somewhere to rent. I was anxious about the process, which was compounded by the fact that I had to move within a short time period. I rang CHK and spoke with Tia. She was brilliant, taking time to understand what I was looking for and talking me through the options. The entire process was handled really professionally. I am giving CHK 5 stars as the Customer Service was awesome.

Having moved away from another well known local agent after years, the team at CHK have restored my faith in agents who actually take their clients' interest seriously and not just their own. Claire, Catherine and Harry were attentive, professional, responsive and paid attention to detail. They ensured that everything was dealt with in a timely manner and the handover between tenancies, within two days, ran seamlessly. Highly recommend the team here!

GoogleI would highly recommend CHK Mountford Lettings based on our experience when we were moving back to the UK from the USA. The agents were knowledgeable and worked with us while we were waiting for paperwork/visas etc to be granted. We got detailed video tours and prompt and detailed answers to all our questions which was very helpful while trying to find a property to rent without being able to view it for ourselves. The property was in great condition when we arrived. And we are getting the professional support and advice we need now that we are settled in.

Special thanks go to Catherine Harris and Sarah Lambert, who were always super professional, excellent and responsive. I have always received the top level of service with a personal touch.
