GoogleIn this day and age of large faceless organisations with little genuine customer focus I strongly believe in commenting on excellent service when it is forth coming, I detail my experience as follows. I was a returning client to CHK Mountford's Surbiton after having used them over the last 20years for letting out an apartment and selling a property. When I recently purchased a buy to let property in the area I again contacted Mountford's and spoke to a senior manager that I had dealt with nearly 20yrs ago. I was pleased to hear a friendly voice and it enforced my thinking that this company has a long-term investment in both staff and clients which goes a long way to the ethos of their business. On this occasion I dealt primarily with Ryan the Surbiton Office Manager. During a meeting at the property viewing he brought me up to date with new legislation and explained step by step the process the company follows on lettings and the type of marketing strategy he had in mind for this property. I was impressed by his professionalism and local knowledge of the market and instructed him to go ahead feeling confident in what I had been told. Within days of our meeting I received a call that viewings and vetting was taking place and a new tenant was soon selected and the property rented out in due course. Individually I found the service delivered be Ryan to be exemplary, he kept me well informed at all stages of procedure, always replied promptly to my queries and guided me through the whole process seamlessly. Collectively he was also supported by his team that assisted with the procedure and dealt with all documentation very efficiently (I will not name them individually but they are all an asset to the company). Overall Mountford's handling of this letting was first class, I realised early on I could trust and rely on them and they provided an excellent service. I would highly recommend this company for their strong customer focus and thorough attention to detail. ********************************************************** Update July 2024; I have now been using this company for 25yrs and I have to say they are still at the top of their game. Some of the team may have changed and some still remain, (that in itself should tell you that their business continuity proves to be their success). They have always been very customer focused and their professional approach in both sales and lettings I find unsurpassed in this area. They are meticulous in detail and this has given me the confidence over the years to use their services time after time. It goes without saying that in their line of business you must have complete trust in their competence and they have always provided me with the best service possible. I suppose when it comes to looking for a reliable company for your sales and letting needs one relies on reviews and recommendations. It goes without saying that I would without reservation recommend Mountford's to my family and friends. I have recently completed some new business with Mountford's hence this review, I look forward to many more years of using their services.

GoogleRecently rented an apartment listed by CHK Mountford and the whole experience is extremely positive. Tenancy agreement was drafted and signed in about a week's time from viewing. Staff members are very friendly, helpful and professional. They guided us through the whole process and email enquiries were answered and resolved in minutes. A huge thank you to Jessica, Ryan and Harry in the office and I would 100% recommend renting through CHK Mountford.

GoogleI've a tenant with CHK and I've had a good experience so far. The team were very quick to set up a viewing, submit my offer and then get me signed up once it was accepted. Now I'm in the flat the team dealing with maintenance, etc have been very responsive so far and helpful. So overall so far, so good!

GoogleWe moved into a property managed by CHK recently and they have been fantastic! The agents showing us around were prompt and honest, and after we moved in, the minor outstanding issues flagged to us we're resolved quickly and to a great standard. Renting and moving can be stressful at the best of times, but I can confidently say CHK have been excellent in taking what they can of the burden out of it.

GoogleThe team at CHK Mountford are by far the best agents out there, leagues ahead of anyone else. I had the pleasure of renting from them and they have always been very polite, caring and prompt with every communication and issue. Very helpful and nice people, especially Harry. No stress and no hassle is what you get with this team, I thoroughly recommend then. Harry has been incredible throughout, as we come to our end of tenancy he has been nothing but patient, flexible and understanding with our situation, always available over the phone to discuss any matters! If I could give zero I will! Awful experience starting from when they gave me the keys and then literally disappeared! Then the inventory was totally different from what I found in the house and when I contacted them they said contact the landlord we can’t do anything! Glad that the landlord was cooperative. Now after leaving the house it took them 10 days to send me the inventory checkout and I called them everyday and they gave a different story every day! Now I have been chasing the deposit for 1 month! Literally awful experience, avoid at any cost.
