GoogleMy flat has recently been re-let and I would like to commend both Katy and Leah at Chappell & Matthews for their efforts to ensure a smooth and seamless transition between tenants. Not only were all matters with the previous tenant concluded quickly but it appears that the new tenants are now in residence and very pleased with the accommodation.

GoogleMaddie at Chappell and Mathews has been beyond helpful. Searching for properties and the rest of it is usually a stressful affair, but thanks to her it’s been pretty straightforward. Not only has she been helpful with the admin side of things, but she also took me to view the property without prior booking, and without any obligation to help out in this way as I was only there for an identity check. Couldn’t recommend enough.

GoogleIt's interesting to read some of the reviews posted here as they seem to be describing a totally different agency to the one we had the misfortune to rent a flat in Bristol through. My wife and I have never encountered such an unprofessional and unhelpful group of people - they are incapable of doing even the most basic (and essential) parts of their job in an efficient manner and without repeated requests to do so. The Whiteladies Road office is chaotic, communication is confused, contradictory and often just plain wrong, and the staff have no concept whatsoever of a duty of care towards their clients. To say they have a complicated relationship with the truth would also be an understatement - to be avoided!

It's interesting to read some of the positive reviews posted here as they seem to be describing a totally different agency to the one we had the misfortune to rent a flat in Clifton through. My wife and I have never encountered such an unprofessional and unhelpful group of people - they are incapable of doing even the most basic (and essential) parts of their job in the proper manner and without repeated requests to do so. The Whiteladies Road office is chaotic, communication is confused, contradictory and often just plain wrong, and the staff have no concept whatsoever of a duty of care towards their clients. To say they have a complicated relationship with the truth would also be an understatement. Unfortunately, C&M made our time living in Bristol less enjoyable and much more stressful than it should have been.
