GoogleHaving finalised my plans for moving to Bristol, I had contacted Chappell and Matthews before moving to Bristol. I had spoken to Oliver at the time and had asked him about the a few properties, but I was unable to decide as I was not in Bristol. After I arrived, I met Dan and viewed a property with him. He was extremely cordial and friendly! Following this, I enquired about another property and when I spoke to Oliver, he instantly recognised me and booked me in for a viewing! This is the property that I settled on, and it has been a great experience! I had a few doubts to clarify and went to the Chappell and Matthews Harbourside office on a Saturday and Ben happily helped me out! They all have been very respectful of my time, have helped me with the application process and have explained every single step along the way! In fact, they have gone out of their way to support me and have updated me of how the application was proceeding! I would like to take this opportunity to thank Oliver, Dan, and Ben, and express my heartfelt gratitude to them. They are an incredible team, extremely reliable, very friendly, and their professionalism and customer service are top-notch! Hats-off to them! To conclude, if you are in Bristol looking for a property to rent or purchase, get in touch with them, and you will have a happy and hassle-free journey ahead!

GoogleDaniel, Umar and Chloe were all extremely helpful with our new tenancy and made the process very smooth sailing, we were given a welcome box for the move in which was a lovely touch and they also waited around for us after they had closed so that we would be able to pick up our keys! GoogleFinding a home in Bristol as a student and part time worker can be a nightmare due to the lack of income. Unfortunately, I couldn't even get a response to my applications to rent a house many times. However, Oliver came to my rescue and helped me a lot in finding a very nice house to rent. Both Oliver and Daniel were always close to me as a phone call and were solution oriented. I am currently sitting comfortably in the house I rented thanks to them. I am grateful to them. GoogleChappell & Matthews are without a doubt the best estate agents I've dealt with in Bristol. They were very helpful, professional and transparent. I mostly deal with Oliver Bloxham who is really friendly, efficient and goes out of his way to find a solution to any problem, but all the team are great. GoogleI am so grateful to Oliver in particular who helped me and my partner to find our first flat! As graduates, we were disregarded by many estate agents who were not interested in helping us due to our relatively low income, however, Olivier took the time to understand our circumstances and match us to a property and landlord who would be willing to rent to us. Both Oliver and Daniel were excellent at keeping in touch throughout the process which was much appreciated given that waiting to be approved can be a nerve wracking experience. We will definitely be going to Chappel and Matthews when the time comes to move house in the future!

GoogleI'd like to talk about the service that I had into 2 parts. Firstly, Chappell & Matthews was doing a good job to help me to find an apartment to rent. I don't have a job at that moment, but the agent assisted me to get a better term. And I don't need to pay 12 month deposit in advance. I'm really thankful to them until this stage. Everything was changed totally after the renting contract was made. The previous tenant damaged the blind and I decided to report to the repairing team (of Chappell & Matthews). I thought everything was settled and is happy about their quick response. However, that's just the beginning of the nightmare. I moved out the apartment after the contract ended and I'm expecting Chappell & Matthews will handle the deposit & checkout process quickly. However, the company only served the benefits of the landlord, trying to force me to pay for unreasonable expense. I tried to argue about the details with agent, but they are not helpful and is not willing to act as a fair party to communicate with the landlord. I spent 3 months to wait and chase for the feedback, and I got nothing afterwards. Now I'm considering to raise a dispute and see if I can get back my money via a fair dispute process. All in all, the agent of this company are very good. But I strongly recommended everyone to keep proper record of the situation of the house you rent, so that you can use those records to protect your benefits (&money of course). And please get prepared to face a long discussion and probably dispute when your contract come to an end. Good lock for that.

GoogleWe found a flat for my son and his partner through Chapell & Matthews. They were knowledgeable, helpful and efficient - guiding everyone through the whole process to make it as smooth and effortless as possible. Professional and transparent in all their dealings, thy are certainly the best agents that we have dealt with in quite a while and even though it was last thing on a Friday when the keys were handed over, Oliver took the time to make sure everything was in order and the move in went smoothly. In Bristol, it's an incredibly tough market to get a new flat or house and these two worked tirelessly to help me secure a new property and were great communicators throughout the process. GoogleI have spent the last few weeks traveling extensively throughout the UK looking for a place to settle and find rental accommodation. I dealt with many agencies where few bothered to return my calls or emails, and many managed to be less than helpful in face-to-face engagements. Daniel at C&M in Bristol was definitely the exception here. He was polite, professional, always responsive and helpful - and managed to arrange a quality rental in a very short space of time. Outstanding service throughout this process. You would struggle to find anyone better in this industry!

Their communication was fast and efficient. Oliver was a real credit to the company. Now moved into my new property they have been very responsive and helpful. Umar was brilliant as he followed up after property viewings and ensured I had a head’s up prior to an email of listings to keep me in the loop. Ben was also fantastic! He was very energetic over the phone and helped make bookings at the last minute and even accommodated some changes to those times.

GoogleAbsolutely wonderful experience with Chappell&Matthews Harbourside branch! Me and my partner were looking for a dream flat together, which in Bristol is extremely difficult these days. We didn’t have a good experience with different agencies before, therefore we were paying attention to customer service and how our application is handled. Couldn’t ask for more communicative, genuinely friendly, professional and efficient team. Ollie and Dan were the best agents we have ever experienced, they have literally made our application process go as smoothly as possible, and I genuinely believe we have got the flat thanks to them and their patience.
