Awful agency for tenants. On behalf of the landlord they tried to claim a large proportion of our deposit with ridiculous reasoning (of course DPS didn't allow it and we got nearly all of it back). When I rang up to complain about the whole experience once our tenancy ended, the manager was extremely rude on the phone, then hung up and emailed to say how much of a "pleasure" it was speaking to me, which I found extremely condescending since he'd spent the entire conversation making excuses and being rude. For me, the experience cemented exactly why letting agents have such a bad name in London.

There is a lot of choice with agents in Walthamstow but Central certainly seem to know the market inside out and I was more than happy with the value delivered and sale I completed on. I cannot advise strongly enough against using Central if you can possibly avoid it. Their incompetence cost us thousands of pounds and we never even received an apology. We were first time buyers on what should have been a very straightforward purchase, and due to the negligence and incompetence of their staff our purchase fell through. They never ever contacted us at all, and whenever we phoned or emailed to ask what was causing the delays (we spent over 15 weeks in conveyancing for no reason at all) they made us feel like we were bothering them unnecessarily, and basically told us to stop contacting them. Although friendly initially, for the majority of our interactions after our offer was accepted they were rude and even sometimes aggressive. I realise everyone's experience will be different and though I would never normally leave reviews for poor service I feel obliged to try and warn any potential buyers (or sellers) out there to avoid dealing with these malicious cowboys at all costs. This industry is in desperate need of greater regulation.

I'm renting with them. They send incompetent handy men which are unable to fix issues in the propriety. After 6 months we are still waiting for minor fixes to be done on the propriety. This agency is slow to respond and does not care about tenants.

I have dealt with both selling and renting team and they have been ok or better. Some of the team members are a bit slow and some have quite a lot of work pressure that you can feel while you dealing with them. From the rental team, I am mostly dealing with Nadia and she is trying her best, although I can sometimes feel that I would like to sort things out in a much faster pace.

Very disappointing service and very bad experienc3 with the agency . I was to go and view a property in Walthamstow, drove long way and the agent did not even turn up. To make it even worse when I arranged the viewing the agent was rude and put the phone down. Prior to going I called the office to confirm view8ng and it was confirmed. I was told to be on time as it is Saturday . No one simply turned up. No mobile was provided to follow up the agent. waste of time. Unprofessional

I urge you not to purchase or sell a property through Central. We were first time buyers ready to move quickly - by week 15, after unbelievable amounts of energy expended on trying to get updates on progress from Central, the purchase fell apart. As with other reviewers we were ignored, patronised and deceived throughout. Avoid at all costs if you want to keep your sanity.

Poor communications led to us withdrawing from a sale. After weeks of not being communicated with regarding what the true picture with the buyer was we pulled out from the sale. We accepted an offer on the premise that the buyer was due to exchange two days later. This never happened but we were not informed of this until eight weeks down the line. Then we were strung along with false dates. A complete waste of the best months for selling a house. I cannot recommend Central for selling a house based on our experience.
