Bought our first house, then three years later sold our house through Central. Was pretty straight forward as both buyer and seller. Felt like we got a good price on both sides. Sometimes difficult to schedule viewings but that's mainly down to volume. Can't say it was a bad experience and we're happy with the outcome. We've recommended another person through them who's also sold successfully and without issue. Good stuff.

I’ve been in London for many years, renting from different agencies and private landlords and by far this is the worst one. I’ve been discriminated, been rushed to move in a house with work in progress, been having people in and out working throughout the pandemic like there’s nothing going on out there. They were literally sending someone every other day at one point. One day we had 3 different people coming just to decide which one is cheaper for that specific job. Been left with two unfinished walls for months, they just decided to paint and complete the work after I left. Now I’m dealing with deposit issues, with a landlord that clearly doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing, charging for cleaning when the checkout report clearly says the property was left in a good overall order and for furniture removal, old items we found in the house that I clearly asked the agent to remove when I moved in, with the simple answer: “mate you should’ve asked me before you moved”, of course that’s the answer I’m getting after I paid and signed the contract. Just because I am a foreigner doesn’t mean I’m stupid and I’m gonna accept the way these agents and landlord treated me, is out of order.

I bought my house in 2004 with Central, they managed it for me and just sold it. The whole team has always been very professional, friendly and supportive. Nothing is too much trouble for them. During the sale process, I received regular updates and advices. I felt in good hands all these years.

We just sold our house through Central Estate Agents and would definitely recommend them to others in Walthamstow. The service was professional, we were kept up to date well at each stage and the staff were nice people to deal with too.

Awful communicators. I had to chase repeatedly. Would get vague and unsupportive answers when I did actually get them. Prior to getting my listing they were exceptionally helpful, but afterwards I was an inconvenience, at best. They seemed purely willing to do the minimum. I had a "fully managed service" yet tenant felt it repeatedly necessary to contact me directly as he actually wanted support. From a landlord's perspective, I would not trust them with my property.

The sales team gets some good reviews but their lettings team are a joke. Arrogant and aggressive guys who push hard to close a deal but dont communicate or answer questions without being sarcastic. Moving in day was a disaster as the woman managing the property didnt give us the right keys, and got the date for the inventory wrong - they came the day after we had moved in. And maintenance has been a joke - they dont turn up and we work full time so waste half a day from work. Terrible terrible. We are sorry the landlord chose to use them. Avoid!!
