I have been with Central for years and I’ve always found them to be very helpful and responsive. The senior lettings negotiator Manaan Rafiq is amazing, my property was let out within days of being on the market and he was super quick and efficient with the paperwork. Severely disappointed with the level of service, lack of responsiveness and incompetence shown by some staff at central estates. Their agents have managed to leave our property unlocked and following that incident, for which an apology was only given after we chased, managed to misplace our keys between viewings meaning prospective buyers could not access the property and we lost viewings. I would not recommend them if you want estate agents who give timely feedback, are reliable and are committed to trying to sell your property.

My experience with central as a Tennant has not been great. Emails left unanswered for weeks, having to chase responses from other department members. Maintenance jobs marked as completed when they have not been, and in some cases marked as complete even before someone has come to inspect the problem and diagnose it. Find it much simpler and quicker to go straight to the landlord with my needs rather than through central. Positives: when you get the right person at central to help you things move quickly, however it is very much pot luck.

A really unethical estate agent. Sharing my experience as a potential buyer with Central Estate Agents. We viewed a property over a month ago but lost out to higher bidders. I was contacted by their Senior Sales Negotiator, Shah Islam, this week to notify me that the buyer they went with was messing the seller around and they were reviewing previous offers. I said that we were still looking and stood by our original offer (which meets the maximum value Central put on the property per their mailing emails). Shah said he would get in touch with the vendor straight away that morning and let me know that day. I rang him the same day in the afternoon after not getting a response and was told he was on the phone. Then, that same afternoon I received a general email from Shah to his whole mailing list stating that the 'Stunning' property was now up for sale again. I was shocked and disappointed - it is evident that they thought they could squeeze more money for it, but in the interim never got back to me. I was left feeling completely shunned and neglected after being open, honest and a genuine potential buyer for a property after they had problems with the original buyer. As above and to reiterate, I'm a genuine, honest buyer in a good position. I replied to Shah's general marketing email stating that I was disappointed he had never got back to be before re-marketing, as HE was the one who got in touch with ME this week asking whether I would still be interested. I asked what the situation was. Shah never replied to my email. A ghosting from an agent after he approached a buyer with an honest, open and solid offer is a joke. I asked Shah to remove me from their mailing list immediately after no response. Yesterday I received another mass email from another Central Estate agent, (Paige) about the exact same property - even after I asked to be removed from their mailing list. It's evident to both me, my partner and my wider friends and family I've discussed this situation with that Central do not have genuine buyer's offers in mind and they are operating unethically. They neglected and failed to respond to me, even after approaching me in the first place. A truly horrendous offer experience and the above agent I dealt with has presented themselves as unethical in this situation. I hope they actually remove me from their mailing list now and I never have to deal with them again. I'll warn anyone and everyone I know to list or buy with ANY AGENCY other than Central!

Absolutely useless. Tried to sell my.one bed flat in walthamstow through central estates. Was told by the estate agent that I met (Rich) that he would be responsible for all viewings. He maybe showed up to 10% of them. I had to chase them to put a board up outside my house and to get a featured property on right move etc., even though I had these promises all in writing. I had to chase several times for feedback, which was far from insightful if I even received any. One agent turned up without keys to my property and another told me I had an l lease less than 99 years (absolutely not the case)when I had to go into the office to chase non existent feedback. Don't bother with these jokers.

I can throughly recommend Richard at Central if you are looking for someone to sell your property. He gave us a truly personal service when we sold our flat - he always knew what was going on, where things were up to and was easy to get a hold of, either on the phone or WhatsApp. He was very proactive when it came to getting viewings from buyers he thought might be interested He knows a huge amount about the local property market and could always be relied on for sound advice. Don't know where we would have been without him.

Very unprofessional. They moved a viewing from 6pm Monday to Tuesday, which I obliged. Drove 45 mins to view the house was there at 6pm, rang office at 6:05 to see where they were. Said their colleague had left our viewing so he wouldn’t be late for his next . Unbelievable . Wouldn’t sell your house with them if you want potential buyers to actually view the house!
