While the general service, advice and speed at which Central operated was good, Central seriously overvalued the sale price of our property. Central’s valuation sat well above (£50,000 or nearly 13%) that of another local agency’s. They justified their valuation by claiming that undervaluing was common practice in order to achieve an easy sale, and were very confident they could get their price. The property eventually sold for the supposedly “undervalued” price (£45k below what central claimed they could achieve), and this considerably slowed down our sale and involved successive incremental price drops which left us questioning their honesty and integrity…

I use Central to rent my property out. They have guided me through the whole process and nothing at all has been any trouble. Manaan has looked after the rental process for me and took all the hassle away from me, his knowledge of the rental market and the area has been a godsend. Martyne is my property manager and she has been brilliant. She is always on hand if I need her or have any questions/issues and always sorts things out for me quickly, I’d be lost without her. Excellent from start to finish! The rental market is really crazy at the moment, but Central were by far the best estate agents I dealt with. Manaan in particular was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and I believe what he doesn’t know about E17 & E10 isn’t worth knowing. As a native to the borough myself, I really appreciated having someone who knew the area and the different properties inside and out. In the end, after several fruitless viewings across two months, it was through Central I was able secure the flat I’m living in now - a testament to their efficiency and processes!

Sold a house through Central earlier this year and would strongly recommend trying one of the other two. Their photos and description left a lot to be desired and they then added the property to Rightmove for £50k less than we'd discussed without my authorisation, thereby completely destroying the chance of getting anything higher. After I highlighted their error, they pulled the listing and relisted my previously suggested price stating that 'no-one will have seen it yet' but all offers then came in around their first low price. They say that you'll deal with a single contact throughout but you won't. I received emails and calls from names I'd never been introduced to before. The whole experience is one I hope to forget and having moved from the area, fortunately I now can. Technically I could have sued, but life's too short.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with an estate agent. My wife and I moved to Australia for a year and decided to rent our property out. Central seemed to be quite prominent around Walthamstow so we decided to go with them. What a mistake.Problem tenants were now residing in our beloved property being managed by a rogue Estate agent where communication is non existent.The tenant’s we’re having massive party’s every weekend and so much Damage was caused.Nancy,Kodie the Central staffs attitude was “We don’t care” “You’re in Australia “This experience has caused us nothing but stress . Don’t be fooled by all the Central signs you see around E17 this outfit just want your money for doing the bare minimum. They had a job to do and they failed miserably on every level

We've just exchanged on a house purchased through Central, and they have been very helpful, communicative and supportive throughout the process. We were looking for quite a long time and had a few interactions with Central on different properties, where the approach from some sales agents was blunt and on occasion plain rude (which is why this isn't 5*). But from the time we got in touch about this house, Shah was very helpful and provided the info we needed to make this big decision. We were given clarity on the competitiveness of our offer and so were able to pitch our bid in the right way, and get the house. Once the sale was agreed, Katie and the sales progression team were great. We had several setbacks (on our side) through this process and Katie managed the process fairly and transparently to help make sure this all kept moving and eventually went through. Overall, a really positive experience once we found a sales agent we got on with, and in the difficult job of closing out the sale Central were spot on.
