GoogleYou can see from the reviews and ratings that it is a company your either very happy with or got terrible service. This is because If you are a landlord you will be looked after, as a tennant your treated as an afterthought or an inconvenience. Do not rent from these people. Do not trust these people. You will be treated with a complete lack of respect.

GoogleBradley’s are hands down THE WORST estate agent I have ever had to deal with as a tenant. I would never use them ever again after my experience. I would actually give them 0 stars if I could! Alarm bells were ringing the moment we did the inventory check and they had ‘light bulbs not working’ on the inventory rather than actually replacing them for when we moved in. They hardly ever came to check the property, maybe once a year, which I’m sure isn’t what they agree with landlords. The property was riddled with damp and mould which took them 3 years to do anything about. If you have a pet do not use them as they charge you £170 for ‘fumigation’ when you check out. When I questioned what this was before signing the contract they told me it meant spraying the carpets with an over the counter flea spray. WRONG!!!!!!! Disgusted they tell you lies to sign a contract knowing full well you will get charged. Terrible agent, avoid at all costs.
Thank you for your comments. Whilst there are a number of points upon which we are not agreed we consider it appropriate to provide clarity regarding our pet policy in particular. Wherever possible we encourage our landlords to consider pets rather than to impose a blanket ban. In this instance your former landlord agreed you may keep a dog at the property subject to specific conditions. You signed an appendix to the tenancy agreement which quite clearly stated “The carpets are to be PROFESSIONALLY cleaned at the end of the tenancy by the Tenant and receipts for such work submitted to the Agent” and also that “At the end of the tenancy the property will be PROFESSIONALLY FUMIGATED for the purpose of destroying any pests that may remain the full cost of such pest control will be met by the Tenant and receipts for the same submitted to the Agent”. You did not comply with these provisions leaving us no option but to arrange the works on your behalf. You had the option to arrange these works yourself but chose not to, this being a view shared by the TDS whom arbitrated the deposit administration independently. For the avoidance of any doubt, this Company did not make any financial gain whatsoever as the £170 to which you refer was the price quoted by an independent contractor

GoogleWe found Bradley’s to be a professional and responsive service. All of the staff were friendly and easily contactable. They communicated well and often with us and behalf of their client. They called back when they said they would. Given their approach with us as purchasers, we would consider using Bradley’s for a sale in the future.

GooglePoor communication, After i left charged me over £500 from my deposit. Take photos of everything, absolutly everything even very small things like Little crack on tiles othervise you'll pay for it.

In the interests of fairness we actively and formally request all tenants to make any comment upon the condition of a property with seven days of the start of a tenancy. We note you chose not to do so. With regard the administration of your deposit the only deductions made were those to which you agreed and were considerably less than the £500 to which you now refer. We would welcome the opportunity to assist you with any additional concerns

GoogleWe've been a tenant via Bradleys for over 3 years now and found them to be excellent. They were so helpful when we found the property and wished to view it and place our application. Since then, we have always found them extremely helpful and cooperative. Katie Ball even remembers our faces if we pop in, excellent service! Would definitely recommend.

GoogleWe consider that the company operate a tick box system, we were told that our prospective tenant had a glowing financial status but we consider that the referencing was inadequate. The tenant was not in the level of employment we had been led to believe and vacated with arrears whilst also failing to pay utilities. There were debt collectors chasing him. We were left to collect the arrears, which we managed to do. Bradleys then charged us commission on the arrears we recovered. We lodged a formal complaint which was roundly rejected by the company and are now considering a complaint to the Ombudsman. We would not deal with this company again.

GoogleI sold my property through this agent: Outstanding service from Katie and her team at Bradleys in Cowick Street. I can not fault them in any way. They had constant communication streams and answered any query I had quickly and professionally. Fees are also very reasonable and they are worth every penny. My parents have also used them and found the same service. So they are consistent. I highly recommend them!!! Thanks for everything

GoogleTook the money and ran. What should have been a pain free move took 3 horrendous weeks, during which time we were presented with nothing but shrugged shoulders and a "what can you do" mentality. As they work in market where demand far outstrips supply, they really have no interest in providing a service. They are just a deposit box in which to post money.

GoogleThe sales negotiators are all very pleasant, friendly and efficient. The property we purchased was empty and in reasonable condition and we had the money in the bank, so it was a fairly easy purchase.
