TrustpilotCommunication is abysmal.
I was buying a home being sold by Bear (Leigh On Sea offices) and want to warn anyone else that their communication is absolutely dire. In the end I contacted the seller directly as Megan never returned my emails or calls. Abysmal.

TrustpilotGood Service
Bear recently sold us a property. Communication was regular. Zoe (Hockley) in particular tried her best when we encountered some issues further up the chain. Everyone seemed friendly and helpful. Thank you.

GoogleI used Bear Estate Agents last year to buy my first house. They were always available when I needed to speak to someone and helpful. They did much more of the chasing than the actual solicitors.

GoogleVery positive experience using Bear as a buyer - Marcos has been patient and professional with us throughout our viewings and we are so impressed with the speed and care with which he has handled things.

TrustpilotWould recommend Bear Estate Agents.
Would recommend Bear Estate Agents. My first move in nearly 20 years and Sydney was a life saver for me. Always at the end of the phone or email to support me if I had concerns or questions. With such a friendly, professional manner, Sydney was always extremely helpful to guide me through selling my home.

TrustpilotGreat Estate Agents, would defintely recommend
We instructed Bear to sell our house and the whole process on their side was very smooth. From Joe coming round initially and also taking photos, to Ellie and Sean organising viewings, and especially to Leigh-Anne who was absolutely brilliant in pushing everything through and chasing things for us.We would definitely recommend Bear Estate Agents, to anyone looking to sell their property.

TrustpilotNo. 1 Estate agents!!
Wow what can I say!!? I had a great experience with Bear estates from start to finish. I would definitely recommend. The whole team were amazing and always at the end of the phone to help. I would like to say a special thanks to Ricky who took great photos and sold our house. Even on his day off he stayed in touch to get the deal done. I also would like to say a special thank you to Sydney our sales progressor. She was always there for me at the end of the phone especially when we had a couple of hurdles. Througout the process she was so professional and basically did the job of the solicitors in my opinion… she just doesn’t stop chasing and without her it would have all moved at a much slower pace. She’s very good at explaining all the legalities and put my mind at rest on a number of occasions, all the time staying calm and positive throughout. Thank you so much for making our move to our dream home possible. Sally & Scott

TrustpilotSucceeded where others failed
We put our home on the market with Bear after trying for several months with a different agent who had brought in a few viewings but no offers at all (even though the house was in a good location and condition). Bear took new photos including aerial pictures with a drone and wrote a new description highlighting the advantages of the house. Joe showed the potential buyers around on our open day and we received 2 good offers from the very first day of viewings, one of which we accepted - a huge relief after 3 frustrating months with the first agent. Joe and Leigh-Anne kept us up to date with progress through until completion of our onward purchase, so we were very pleased with the experience overall, even more so as the fees were very competitive.

GoogleI recently sold my house through Bear, the whole process they have been brilliant. I was impressed by their pictures and advert, support with viewings and then the follow up after offer to exchange. Having sold properties a few times, I've never had an agent so proactive in keeping us up to date and chasing things through to get us to the point of exchange. Would highly recommend!

GoogleI have been very happy with Bear right from the start, around 4 months ago. I was pleased, when Jack first came to value my property, with his pleasant attitude, which made me feel at ease, and I then new I was going to Bear to help guide me through what I believed to be a daunting task of selling my house of over 30years. I was kept informed at every step, as we had people to view, and I met more of the staff from Bears at each viewing. Each and everyone I met, or spoke to on the phone, were so polite and easy to talk to, it felt like you were talking to your friends, and yet they were very professional as well, in the advice and help they were giving. And finally, the day I exchanged. All their work has got me to this point and I couldn't be happier, so a big thank you to all the members of the team that looked after me and I would recommend them unreservedly, if you are looking for a very professional and friendly team, to help you move to the next chapter of your life.

TrustpilotThis team works hard to get the job done
Everyone in this company tries hard to get the job done. Sydney, especially, worked hard and effectively to help us achieve our goals. She had a difficult job with so many unpredictable obstacles and awkward barriers to negotiate. She persevered and got good results.

GoogleTerrible experience from the sales department from the start. Reason I didn't give a 1 star as I can't fault the letting department.
Hi Josh, thank you for this review. I have looked into your comments as we take all of our reviews very seriously. Sometimes sales can be fettered by the different situations people find themselves in and whilst we do the very best we can to manage them, there can be those that are ‘out of our hands’. Thanks again, Bear

GoogleWe received a brilliant service from Bear Estate Agents in Basildon. Professional and good advice from all the team. We recommended them to our neighbours and they too have sold.
Thank you Maxine for this great review and also for recommending us! There is nothing better than a positive recommendation and this has really helped us. Bear
