We moved in at the end of January 2025. All started well, the builders are still on site so any little snags were sorted out within a few days most of the time. The team were all very pushy for you to fill in the NHBC Survey within weeks of moving in and to say how much they would appreciate 5 stars across the board. As soon as you've submitted a positive survey service levels plummet. We paid for a pearl kitchen upgrade which included lights on the plinths under the cupboards. From day 1 they kept popping out and after a few attempts are them fixing the issue Barratt and Symphony kitchens agreed that i was an inferior product and would replace the light fittings. In early August this work was carried out as promised. However they were 2 lights short and i was promised they would be ordered and the job finished by the end of the week. I left it a couple of weeks and after hearing no updates i emailed the site manager... no response i emailed him again 3 weeks later... no response... Between the 25th September and the 30th October i went into the sales office on site 3 times to chase this. On the last occasion they could clearly see how frustrated i was about this and i immediately got a call from head office who promised a call back with an update on Monday 3rd. They called on Monday 3rd to let me know their systems were down but promised a call back on Thursday 6th November with a solution. I yet again foolishly gave them the benefit of doubt and as of today i've still had no update Whilst the quality of build is OK sorting out snags once they've had your money and filled in their surveys proves next to impossible.

Poor build quality, poor room design, poor road design, poor after sales support, poor communication throughout. Cars almost crashing into each other daily while Barratts do nothing about it, the issue is due to their terrible road design and house placement. Can't fit a single bed in a "bedroom" so be careful about buying without measuring!
