Prior to his visit he had researched the local market conditions, similar style properties currently for sale along with sold properties via the Land Registry in the past 12 months..
Three options were proposed with an explanation of all costs and projected time scales.
A comprehensive written report was posted 11 days later for my perusal.
I found David Hatch to be a very knowledgeable and well informed agent, willing to explore and explain all possible options.. His professional approach is to be commended.

The people I have dealt with at Alex Neil were all very nice. However, as an organisation, it is not there to represent the interests of tenants. It took about five months to get an external sliding door fixed. They tried to show buyers round the flat four months before the end of the tenancy when the landlord decided to sell, and I had to remind them of my legal right to quiet enjoyment. And now I am being forced to pay Alex Neil for a landlord reference for my next flat. I have never been charged for a landlord reference before, and I think to charge for this is somewhat cheeky given the other fees we have paid Alex Neil.

Alex Neil have now let and managed by property in Rotherhithe for over 5 years. They have recently found me my 3rd tenant during that period and once again, have performed brilliantly.
The most recent let went very smoothly and Alex Neil's proactive marketing meant that the vacant period was kept to an absolute minimum. I was kept up to date with progress from viewings and the offer I accepted was dealt with with professionalism.
Thanks to Alex Neil's excellent management team, my property has been very well cared for throughout the 5 years they've looked after it. The few maintenance matters that have occurred in that time have been dealt with swiftly and economically, and the work carried out has always been of the highest standard.
I look forward to another 5 years or more with Alex Neil!

FacebookWas excited to move into my new flat today and it was in a right state! Dirty floors, hairy plug holes, food still in the freezer from previous tenants that had been moved out for a month and no bed in the second bedroom. Phoned the office 5 times to complain and every time they said some one will get back to you today, which never happened. On the last time they said some would come round to see it, and nothing was done. Not impressed at all but not surprised either as I heard on the grapevine that their customer service was below average. Be wary of going with Alex Neil as it seems they're just about increasing their bottom line instead of helping people with their homes :(
