Yarm branch, dreadful. Contacted as a buyer through rightmove. I live about 8 hours drive away so need as much info as possible. No reply, 4 days later find thank you for regstering in spam. Did not ask for that. Messaged again. Phone rung, but he hung up when answerphone kicked in, I was on my mobile. Received email, phone me back no means to leave a message. Odd. Emailed with 3rd request for info on garage conversion. Emailed requesting my details, ea financial and what makes me suitable to book a viewing. After the next request for info re garage conversion finally got an answer. By that time I had decided that with close to 1500 bungalows and detached houses in my search area, I do not need this and deleted the dormer and 2 other MP properties. I am just pleased that most estate agents I have had contact with have not shown this second hand car salesman behaviour

I have Been renting through MP for 9+ years but I had to leave due to
LL selling, I’ve had no trouble with MP up until I was leaving, I had no contact or help from anybody after the sect 21 to help me find anything new?, eventually after finding a new property to rent I had issues with them delaying my reference despite not missing a payment in 9 years!! I’m glad I cancelled my Standing order as I was billed for the month after my tenancy ended as they had failed to update Melanie in accounts that I had gone. I received no apology, just a standard response “system hadn’t been updated” -I left my flat in great condition and it’s 3 weeks before I get my deposit back , I can afford it but how are people supposed to pay a deposit whilst waiting repayment of another. Not good enough.i was thinking about 4 stars however decided on 3, when you can spend an lifetime in building a legacy up but it takes one stupid mistake in letting it fail! Shame

We viewed a property that was for sale with Micheal Poole on December 30th 2025 and made an offer via email on the 30th. Although the office was closed on the 31st the office manager rang me from home. The offer was accepted. Though out the whole process Marian Gilhooly constantly kept in touch with updates. She was supportive, encouraging when things slowed down and incredibly helpful and professional. I don’t think that anything was too much trouble for her , she simply could not do enough for us. We are looking forward to receiving the keys to our new home next week and also looking forward to seeing Marian again.

She kept us updated at every step and was a friendly ear to talk to when we needed it. She was really responsive and on the very rare occasion that she didn't know the answer immediately, she went away, found out and came back to us. Moving house is always stressful, but having Gill to support us and keep us updated made it so much better. We had piece of mind knowing that Gill was on the case. We had previously put our property up with another estate agent, but from the moment we put it on the market with Michael Poole we secured a number of viewings. Would really recommend.

Due to chain issues and Solicitors not communicating we were at times at our wits end. Stacey Holmes (Negotiator) really went above and beyond to help and provide reassurance during this process.
