Having never rented before, Northwood made the process extremely easy from start to finish. Any question I had was promptly answered, which was reassuring. Communication with them is incredibly easy, and if there are to be any issues I'm sure it will continue to be so.

I am happy with the service Northwood provided in the exchange and purchase of my new home. Unfortunately the previous owner left a large quantify of possessions and trash behind in breech of the contract. Northwood were really helpful in quickly resolving this and arranging the items to be removed, I’m very grateful to them for their support

We purchased a property that Northwood had listed and found them nothing but helpful. The purchase was not the smoothest but Joanna helped us through it and progressed the sale much faster than it would have without her. Solicitors are slow but Joanna was on top of it at every stage making sure it was pushing forward and always in the know.

They really knew the best way to highlight the best features. Excellent communication, we were kept in the loop every step of the way and nothing was too much of an ask. I've been a landlord for 40 years and I've just finished selling all of my properties through Northwood pending retirement. I've used several agents during this time and they have varied considerably in the level and quality of service provided. Northwood is the ONLY agent that I have used that I'd recommend if you are going to rent properties out and want to reduce the hassle that this will involve. They take care of the legal obligations that a landlord must comply with and keep up with the ever changing and increasingly complex legislation. They vet tenants carefully, and if a problems arises with one, they deal with it efficiently and quickly. And when, like me, you want to sell up they make that process as easy as possible. They are very good at marketing your property and negotiating the best price. They ensure that this laborious and tedious process proceeds as smoothly as possible. I'd highly recommend this agent. They stand out head and shoulders above the rest.

They vet the tenants carefully and deal with problems quickly and efficiently. They keep up with the legislation and ensure that the property complies with the increasingly complex rules and regulations that landlords have to adhere to. They are the same when selling a property. They marketed my properties quickly, checked potential buyers credibility, arranged viewings and negotiated the best price possible for my properties. Letting properties is stressful. Selling property is stressful. If you want to make either process easier for yourself I'd highly recommend that you choose this agent.

GoogleTerrible service. Could never gain straightforward responses from them. They have excuses for everything. They provide no evidence of property management / property checks. Happily ignore issues landlords have, or any concerns raised. When complaints are made about tenants, they ignore these too. OK for tenants but not for landlords. Would never recommend this company, not after the terrible experience I suffered.

Rebecca O', After letting your property for several years, in September 2020 you alleged that the tenant had interfered with operation of the boiler, causing it to fail. An inspection was carried-out which found mechanical failure on an obsolete boiler, for which you, as the landlord had a repairing obligation. Further allegations followed when you held the tenant responsible for the condition of the property. In compliance with our complaint handling procedure, from Northwood you received detailed written information in which it was explained that the repairs and maintenance for which you held the tenant responsible was a cause of deterioration from fair wear and tear, for which the tenant is not responsible to compensate the landlord. Not being satisfied with our explanation, you referred the matter to the Property Ombudsman. After reviewing your complaint, in September 2021 the Ombudsman concluded that Northwood was not in breach of its contract and had satisfactory fulfilled its obligations. I am sorry, if you have found the explanation given by Northwood, and the review of the Property Ombudsman to be unsatisfactory.
