About me... I'm Mark Buchanan, husband to Julie and dad to our three boys, Jack, Bailey and Morgan. Born and raised in Cumbria, I have spent most of my life living in Workington and have worked across the entire county. I first started working in property in 2012 dealing with lettings in social housing before moving on to residential sales and lettings. Since then, I have valued and sold hundreds of properties across West Cumbria and Carlisle, working for both excellent local independent agents and also the largest estate agency name in the UK, Purplebricks, where I amassed over 100 5* Feefo and Trustpilot reviews from happy customers. Over the past few years I've appeared on numerous episodes of Homes Under The Hammer, covering properties from Beckermet through to Carlisle. When we opened our doors in 2020, we never wanted to be the biggest agent, but to provide the best marketing and the best service to our clients. The same is still true today, which is why we receive such amazing feedback from our clients, with well in excess of 150 5-star reviews. Whether you're buying or selling a home, it can often be a stressful process. Our aim is to try and relieve some of that stress by offering a personal service outside of the usual office hours of 9-5. That's why we're available to our clients 7 days a week, on a more personal, 1-2-1 basis. All of our personal property experts are highly experienced and have the same passion to provide an outstanding level of service to you. By providing brilliant marketing and utilising social media, we help to get the best possible price for a property and in the shortest time.

GoogleMark and Julie went over and above for us when selling our house. Mark was always available and gave us excellent advice throughout, it only took 4 days for our house to sell! that was mostly due to Mark being available during the bank holiday weekend. We can not thank them enough. Highly recommend.

FacebookWe would highly recommend Mark, Julie and boys to anyone, from start to finish they were always available and at the other end of the phone when we needed them. They were very professional and sold our house fast, they kept us updated when needed and helped with any enquiries. You’ll find no other estate agent that is able to get your property looking the way Mark and Jack do when taking the pictures and videos, they’re amazing 👏🏻 When moving in, Mark delivered us a hamper which was so nice of him! Absolute 5 ⭐️ customer service all around. Thank you all for everything, from us all at no.43!

GoogleVery helpful and professional. We dealt with Mark as buyers of a property. Nice personal feel which you don't get with other estate agents. Even gave my mum a bottle of champagne upon completion! Lovely surprise! :) Photos accurately reflected the size and appearance of the property too. Great service, definitely recommend :)

FacebookCan't recommend Mark, Julie and Jack enough! Mark and Julie did an excellent job of organising the viewings and speaking to potential buyers to save us all the hassle, all we did was sit back and they did the running around. Being an independent agent you get a personal service and the ability to get in touch at any time with questions or updates. And also a big thank you to Jack, he did an absolutely amazing job of the 360 tour and stitching together the virtual tour which we felt sold the house the most. He's a credit to both Mark and Julie and will go far with his skills! keep up the good work.
