Absolute shambles dealing with this company from start to finish, havent found a single person working for the company that can actually do their job properly yet, 6 weeks after moving out of one of their properties and matters still aren't resolved, there isn't any sense of wanting to get anything resolved by them either, I'd highly recommend AVOIDING at all costs.

I experienced a very poor service with Townsend and was unfortunately unable to move into the property as the in and out checks had not been carried out and there was someone still living in the property, the team didn't even seem to care in the slightest. I would be very cautious using them.

Critical ,not professional the team in Staines Is my first time when I decide to take a house in rent from agency and is the worst decision ever!!! Google should decide to change as well to minus stars cause this branch in staines deserve minus 1 milion stars !!! From the first agent that showed me the house until the assistant manager, Misleading people , appalling staff , unprofessional ,rude I'm not sure if this arrived to the high general manager but probably they don't since March no one called Still awaiting since March to arrive a plumber to fix the tap water ,now is even broken and can't turn on for the hot water ,the water leak continuosly so mean water lost money lost again. The boiler do not have a good pressure going high pressure, generate very hot water (burning under the shower)then stop to work and have cold water !! Ridiculous frustrating how this is dealing with Probably I should not pay rent until all this are fixed maybe like this is working to get something fixed .NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Have been living with loose dangerous tiles in my bathroom for nearly 6 months now and very little has been done or followed up about this situation. Avoid at all cost. They leased me a property that wasn't cleaned at all, with dirt and disgusting mould like patches on the walls and by the windows. Agency and the landlord claimed that it is professionally cleaned which was obviously not true. On top of that I was left without heating and hot water for my first 2 days at the apartment and agency didn't provide any assistance or help during these drastic circumstances. In addition, when I was trying to receive help or guidance my point of contact in agency blocked me even on WhatsApp. I have leased from different agencies across 3 countries and I can certainly claim that is the most unprofessional agency I ever had contact with and the experience has been dreadful. Please avoid signing with them unless you want to live in a place with no heating and having a constant headache getting any assistance from them.

Appalling !! no words to describe ! last year June 2019 we used this agent to buy a property, they were so quick to take my initial deposit through lifetime legal which £240 and made me spend £750 to take mortgage offer.. later found it property is not for sale have been withdrawn by seller !! (met seller, according to seller they were forcing the seller to sell it) during this time i made about 50 calls a month/two every time they didn't answer or disconnected, when i tried from a different number then they answered and put me on hold for a long time or disconnected!! finally a new manager in January 2020 he rang me to say he will ask life time Legal to return the initial deposit of £240 but sadly nothing!!

5 years living in the UK and all of them rented, I have never seen in those 5 years what I have seen with this scammers agency. The worst and saddest thing is that it was me who did not turn to my current agent before going with them. And on top of that I lost my money. Hopefully they are choking because they will not take a pound more from me. I give them 1 star because they can not be removed. MR. JOE there is nothing to discuss. I don't know in another branch but Staines branch is a really poor service when inform to the customer and explaining all details. Of course I'll share this case in more sites for show the people how to lose 500 pounds easy and quick with your agency. Information fault telling that is everything in the lettings guide. Detail that's not true, because somethings were explained by Iain but too late. If the incompetents that you have in that office explain everything on the properly moment probably not lose my money and you the customer and more.....

You cannot trust them,. Unfortunately. I had a house let agreed. The house was in a very poor condition, so the Landlord agreed to refurbish it. I had to wait almost a month ans when i finally got the keys, no work whatsoever was done in the house. The Estate agents (Akash and Lily) gave me the excuse that "The Landlord got his dates mixed up". I had to pay hotel for my family until i found another property. They have not even have the decency of returning my money as of today. NEVER DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. Replying with a "Sorry" message, doesn't cut it. They were supposed to go into the property before i moved in and do a check on the property, which they obviously did not, or if they did and even then handed me the key, then they knew the house was in a very poor condition, which in turn raises even more concerns on the way they operate

Sahil helped my wife and I with a house purchase late 2017. We found him to be pragmatic, honest and open from the first viewing right through to collecting the keys to our new home. At times, I think the branch was short staffed which sometimes made it tricky to get hold of Sahil. This was no reflection on Sahil personally, and is the only reason I'm not awarding the full five stars. I'd definitely consider using Townends Regents again.
